This maybe a funny and cute way....to bring up the idea of getting a cat and this is probably what I am going to do to convince my mom.....go to the animal shelter with Steve and pick out a cute cat.....hold the cat out (cat is being cute) and say "How can u say no to this face.....?" or something like that.
agrees. I fell in absolute with this cat when i met him. He was playing with the toys with me, he was rubbing up againest my legs, and he even let me pick him up and hold him, he wouldn't let my friend pick him up.
my mom would probably never go for it, either...she doesn't understand that my once deadly allergy is now very very mild. But i have to convince her because my friend and i went to the animal shelter in her town the other day, and i met this beautiful black cat....and we fell in love. I love dogs too, but we're never home and dogs need attention more often. Cats you can leave home alone, and they can be independent.
I think we have amazon marketplace here...not sure though. sometimes i do wish i lived over there....lol....the us...stinks sometimes. I hate our president so much, that very time i hear him talk i want to vomit. but i'll try e-bay and amazon marketplace. there aren't many second hand electronic stores where i live. my next project is convincing my mom about getting a cat. lol
I haven't looked on e-bay yet....but i will have to do so. I checked wal-mart, they only have the ones with both a dvd player and VCR. but to tell the truth I am really just in the pricing stage...for that purchase....because I have no money because i am currently looking for a job.
I'm trying to find one of those old TVs with the bulit in VCR, so i can hook up my ps2 to it and play my games, but i also i can use the ps2 as my DVD player....lol.....I still have a lot of video tapes.
I just woke up....lol....that's one of my biggest fears....turning into my mother.

I've been to a place called Loue (Loo =p we laughed) in Cornwall, it was fun quiet place...but you are right. The locals do seem a tad bitter towards overly touristic tourists lol
I wish I could say I was a 'cool' tourist who blended in with the local life...but i'm the guy who looks like a Walrus in a Penguin Enclosure (random analogy of the day), with the camera, the map and all the pointing lol
I know, my first trip (and only other trip) abroad was to New York in 05, it was nice, part of a College trip. But the co-ordinators crammed to much in so it felt rushed.
Not to mention that the Civillians we encountered (not saying all of them) were very rude...many people didn;t even say 'have a nice day' or 'thank you for shopping' etc...werid.
LOL! It wouldn't worry me so much but i'm going to a small French town...where very few people actually speak English >.< lol
