Ha another boss guide , hopefully this will help new players

Anyway let's begin

Stygians

They are the most common enemies in DmC. They will appear in almost every mission. They melee attack with both arms. Their attacks have a long wind up , and they at times stand or walk around doin nothing between attacks

Launch them into the air with rebellion or do ground attacks , they are unlikely to block you so just do whatever combo you would like

Even in groups they are weak , especially to the arbiter and eryx

Bathos

They are weak ass demonic looking cupids with one main attack , they throw bombs that beep and flash before blowing. They also carry a shield at times that you will have to tear away

The bombs can be parried back with a timed sword strike to blow them up

That changes when playing on DMD/GMD. They becmome more annoying on those difficulty due to blocking more often. I found several exploits for this, but some times they will block. It's the aquila combo in the air that brings all weak enemies to you. Stronger enemeis if you pop DT (Standard or Hardcore version). Charged Eryx or Osiris is best used on them for breaking blocks/launching them on the hardest difficulty.

Dreamrunners. Mini-bosses that demand your respect. Best way to fight them is to let them attack first and find an opening. Several of their attacks can be parried, but I find it best to use Eyrx on them. Whenever they do that teleport mirror move, charge with the attack button and as soon they pop out, release, and insta-parry them. You can follow up with attacks using Rebellion. I prefer Trillion Stab. Or grab them and use the air combos. Be careful, they can retaliate if wailed on for too long. You can use that to your advantage by demon evading their follow up or counter attack. Best enemy in the game.
