Literally the closet thing to a Star Fox movie that there'll ever be. I can die a happy canus lupus now.

This short is officially canon and was made by Shigeru Miyamoto in collaboration with those technical animation mages over at Production IG and WIT Studios, known for their work on the anime juggernaut, Attack on Titan.

I literally have fantasized about a Star Fox movie for years, and this animated short only launched those hopes to orbit. I mean, Ratchet And Clank's getting a full-blown film, so the idea of a Star Fox one isn't entirely ludicrous.

Btw, if you have a Twitter, you should tell Nintendo yourselves. I usually oppose hashtags like most decent human beings oppose murder, but there's one called #NintendoMoreAnime. Maybe they'll care, maybe they won't. But at least they'll know you liked it.
