He could have had/purchased another pair, many years have passed between DMC3 and DMC4.
EDIT
Also upon closer inspection those gloves definitely are not the same.
I meant the SCAR, not the gloves. What am I supposed to be looking at exactly here? That they're the same gloves? They're not.
He's got fingerless gloves in 3, while in 4 just two of the fingers are exposed. Whatever sense that makes. I've never seen gloves like that.
Because they're super-cool, that's why. He's got fingerless gloves in 3, while in 4 just two of the fingers are exposed. Whatever sense that makes. I've never seen gloves like that.
Because the Yamato is well... OP.I don't see a scar. It just looks like detail of Dante's palm. Would Dante be susceptible to scars considering he has super healing?

I'd guess the gloves are like that because he deliberately cut off the index finger, probably for his handguns.Because they're super-cool, that's why.

What I mean is that it's powerful enough to leave a scar. Demon Curse 101 or some crap.
I don't know, maybe. But even in DMC3 Yamato is the only thing that seemed capable of inflicting lasting damage. If anything would leave a scar, that would.Agreed, doesn't seem like a scar to me, just detail in Dante's palm.
Seems the detail in his glove and DT glove changes when he uses his DT, but doesn't look like a scar to me.
And I doubt Dante would even get a scar, at best it probably just took longer to heal throughout the events of DMC3 since its Yamato.
why he was spontaneously entering Devil Trigger.
