Hey guys!
I watched the entire anime again and kind of got stuck on episode 8, where the demon at the ruins calls Dante a kid.
A kid?
How old do you guys think he is in the anime?

well technically demons are pretty long lived compared to humans so even if Dante is a adult by our standards to a demon he's still pretty young.

If its Disgaea demons then Dante is a newborn since demons in Disgaea can live to their thousands.

He is 1313 years old and demons consider him a "kid" or "brat".

Vergil's sword and #1 fan!
28 years old. His mother was killed when he was 8 and Trish says "You lost a mother and a brother to evil 20 years ago" and if I'm correct
20 + 8 = 28 I just want to know if he can live to be as old as his father. But that seems unlikely if he keeps getting stabbed and shot like he usually dose. :3

Well Sparda was fully human while Dante is half demon so I'd say a little over 1000

1000 years later they are still worshiping Sparda and not Dante. :/

Thats only because when dante saves the world no ones watching lol everyone has either ran away or he's fighting is some desolute area if people saw dante kick the amount of demon a** that he does theyd show a lil more respect as it is dmc4 first scene is as public as he really got in the original series if im not mistaken?

Well last I checked Sanctus tried to pose the Savior as well the "savior" (considering it was killing the demons that were attacking the people and that is what the civilians saw) so if anything the civilians saw the Savior as their hero, their savior, and their hope. Dante beating the crap out of the savior and Nero crushing its face in won't generate any positive image for the 2.

Its like if Jesus or God came to destroy the world instead of saving the pure ones and instead someone kills them and saves mankind from impeding doom. The Christians won't take him lightly as a "hero".

Basically Nero is going to have it rough in Fortuna now considering he killed their "hero/savior" and is a demon.

I'm gonna go watch this again :D
BTW...did anyone appreciate the dubbed version? or r u all for the subs?

I wasn't a big fan of Reuben's performance in the dub. He sounded so lazy, and took deep breathes every time he started a sentence.

The sub sounded better with getting this version of Dante who was more darker in humor and more serious too. Something Reuben can't pull off as well since he's better playing Dante when he's fun.
