Slow moment but I just noticed you were from Sweden. I come across a good amount of people who say english isn't their first language yet they speak it better then every person I've met. It always impresses me x3

The game obviously can not be judged by its own merits since its a REBOOT of a established franchise.

And blame? All I said that one shouldn't take Yahtzee's reviews 100% serious and then you suddenly attacked me for "thinking I'm better than Yahtzee".

No it's not. Why am I not allowed to compare what DmC did better or worse in contrast to the previous games? Is it some holy rule so that DmC doesn't look as bad in the combat department when put next to DMC3/4? It's just an easy way to remove legit argument from the opposite side.

And on the topic about Yahtzee, taking is reviews 100% serious is quite stupid.

Me makes valid points when pointing out good and bad stuff in games but he turns everything on to 11 and exaggerates alot.

I remember his Monster Hunter 3 review. He barely got out of the tutorial part of the game and made a review based on that part alone. Very unjust review.

I suggest taking everything he says with a pinch of salt (or handful).

Woah woah, You can compare the game to the other entries in the series, read my post carefully, you're ABSOLUTELY entitled to your opinion, and to have your favorite game out of the fives.

What you CANT do is taking DMC3 as a "Standard" for every other DMC game in the series, basically taking everything DMC3 has, making a checklist with said elements, and if a new game does not have one or more of them, it automatically sucks, despite it's actual merits like, excelling in something DMC3 failed. Refer to my Final Fantasy Example,

And Agreed about Yahtzee, he may like to add comedy to his reviews, but they are all but biased, his points are usually strong, despite me not agreeing with some of them (His opinion on FFXIII and The Last of Us ****ed me off, because he's right and I love both games)
