May have found the worst review of DmC in the History of time

And the other reviews of it getting 9/10's and 10/10's without seeing or bringing the con's are fair?
All I see is balance...no negativity, but not positive either, each to its own like many reviewers.

Agreed.
And like you said, If there where reviews that gave this game 9/10 or even a perfect 10/10 would that make them Inexperianced or biased?
Although I would disagree completely with such scores, I'm not going to call them the worse reviews ever.
Its just those guys personal opinions.

I'm not saying that the game should be given automatic 9/10s straight outta the gate, all I'm saying is that a 5 for this game is incredibly harsh.
Comments like "Many of us were probably outraged about this when we first seen his redesign, but that soon went over as we figured it might actually be an okay game." I find to be extremely sweeping. In fact, the entire opening paragraph is just one big "Lower your expectations".
And the comment about the audio doesn't even make sense to Me, the reviewer implies that it's entirely dubstep when in fact very little of the game features dubstep-esque music, nowhere near as prominent as the industrial Combichrists slice of the soundtrack anyway.
I've read many a review on DmC, but this I found to be the most uncomfortable to read. The whole thing just feels wrong.

Just finished reading the review. I don't agree with it for the most past but i don't see how it is biased. He clearly said that there are still positive things in the game and this review is a dead horse since no one have commented and was written on January 26.
Again, this is a just a review. No matter how professional they are, this is still their opinion. You may agree on it or not.

Eh I really didn't think the review was that bad. Everyone has different tastes and he seemed pretty fair to me even though I disagree with his review. I prefer DmC over the originals for many reasons but my taste just differs from others and who is to say that I'm not biased? I admit that I might be, aren't most people just a little bit biased for something they love?

After watching Angry Joe's review, I steered well clear of any 'review' of DmC on there. Perhaps I should check them out now though, have they gotten any better/worse?

Also want to point out that the guy actually did say some nice things about the game.
It seemed like a fair review to me and that it simply did not appeal to his taste.
I would hardly call him biased in that respect.
If so, the whole review would have been 1 big mudslinging fest that said nothing good about the game.

Let Me be clear, what I meant by biased is that the reviewer wastes no time in comparing the reboot to the original, obvious and expected, yes, but also ends with the warning that should any fan do the same, they will be disappointed. Biased towards the original series is all I meant. And while any nobody can throw a half-assed review up, I've always felt that a true review should be done objectively. Focusing entirely on the merits of the game itself as it's own game for it's own game, not because of it's history.
Ah, still being trolled then, won't bother reading them.

Yeah I agree with you that a review should be more like that. I was actually more ****ed off with angry Joe's review though; he really acted like his opinion was a fact saying that the characters were unlikeable over and over again. I honestly get the feeling that this guy was more inexperienced than anything else.

I was wondering what was going on with your quote there, ha. Yea, as much as I enjoy Joe, his DmC review annoyed Me, especially the beginning where He mentioned the whole 'Emo Dante' thing (despite Dante being clearly more akin to Punk than Emo). He's a great reviewer, I was pleased to see him squeeze out a 7 for DmC and even mention aspects of DmC which were done better than DMC, but at times He does come across as a bit of a casual.

sorry! I hit post and for some reason my reply just didn't show up at all; I was wondering what was going on myself ha. Yeah, I thought the 7 was fair, but he just lingered far too long comparing the game to the originals in most places instead of on it's own merits. Besides, I for one like the characters in the reboot more so it really tiffed me of when he acted like his opinion were facts. I guess I was holding angry joe to a higher professional standard for some reason lol.

Angryjoe clearly stated before mentioning the whole emo thing is, It's his opinion and judgment so you'll have to bear with it. Also joe is never a professional reviewer. He never claims to be one and his style of reviewing is not really what professionals do with all those boobies jokes :3

I enjoy the characters in DmC also, I will sort of agree that Kat can be a bit weak story-wise at times but it's not to the point where it's distracting, and her and Dante are set up nicely at the end. One part of the review that I hated was that even He brings up the whole 'New Vergil has 0 honour!', which I thought was silly because it's part of his character, he's cold calculating and does what needs to be done, honour or no honour. I got that immediately, it's what sets him apart from Dante, we're actually supposed to be encouraged to dislike him due to the villainous way in which he is presented. I get that Classic Vergil has a (somewhat bewildering) huge following, but it's a new game with a new universe with it's own new story and most importantly new renditions of classic characters. So any 'Oh, so-and-so would never do this because in the original...' is moot.
His opinion or not, unless you're going off of 2010 Dante completely, there is no way in Hell New Dante could be mistaken for Emo. If so, I guess anyone with black hair and a fauxhawk is emo, go figure. Hell, even Joe's hair is similar to Dante's, without the V shave at the back, and I'm sure He'd hardly call himself Emo, would He?

My only problem was how he made his own ignorance apparent in saying that with DT he chooses to pull down an enemy an wail on it, when we all know that youre suppossed to try and stay in the air. What I am getting at is that his complaint about the DT was invalid since he clearly didnt understand how it should work. Btw i do realize there are other problems with this DT. Also he complained that the triggers didnt work? Im not sure what he meant because they arent supposed to do anything mid swing. But it wasnt a bad review, Ive seen much, MUCH worse.
