What, in your opinion are examples of good reboots and bad ones

Good:

DmC: Dante's pretty much a fouler mouthed version of DMC3 Dante, and the story was still true to the spirit of DMC.

Casino Royale: Epic Bond movie.

Star Trek 2009: Nice, just...nice

The Incredible Hulk 2008: Much better than 2003's Hulk

Carte Blance: My Theory of different Bonds was proven! Great action and actual stealth work! Good job!

Bad:

DC New 52: Way to throw away years of continuity, turn all your nice characters into smug assholes and erase a ton of people from existence, leaving multiple plot threads eternally hanging.

Rebuild of Evangelion: **** Evangelion.


Bionic Woman: I don't even know where to begin...

New 52 is hit and miss. Some aren't bad at all. Batman and Robin is actually the most like an actual continuation that any other one out there. It's pretty sweet. Damien Wayne is still Robin there.

Sonic died, princess thought gee whizz, nows my chance to make out with Sonic!
Sonic from beyond the grave thought it was messed up, and came back to life so he wouldn't get violated any more.

Someones been out of touch, don't blame you, check out Unleashed, Colors and Generations. They're pretty much the return of Sonic.
Since its now under new direction and a whole bunch of new people working on the games.

Am i the only one who dislikes James bond Reboot ? I just don't like Daniel Craig as bond... he's so unfunny and uncharacteristic

and besides is there something called "disappointing" reboot ?
 
Good Reboots:

DmC: Devil May Cry
Chris Nolan's Batman
The Amazing Spiderman
Daniel Craig as James Bond

Bad Reboots:

Spyro and the Skylander Sh*t
Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the one where they're aliens)

That's what I have for now...

Well i agree with literally everything you said and i add Godzilla 1998 to bad remakes.

casino royal bad a*s was meh with quantum of solace but skyfall was just made of awesome.

I gave casino royale a chance.. then quantum of solace then i just gave up watching bond movies after that

He's not funny.. and i like james bond being funny and quarky.. he's just DULL

Your missing out if you never checked out Skyfall yet. Quantum of Solace was sh!t but I liked Casino Royale. It's based on the original novels and it's meant to show off a more inexperienced and vulnerable Bond. I don't think Daniel Craig makes a bad Bond because he reinvents the character in the direction this Bond was aiming for. Skyfall is freaking awesome. Enough where many people are saying Daniel Craig has made one of the best Bonds ever and Skyfall is being called one of the best 007 movies ever. It would be typical but my personal favorite Bond is Sean Connery and that seems like almost every Bond fan's answer but see Skyfall and love it.

Nah i don't think i'm missing out i watched 2 movies to know what the 3rd movie would be like and i don't see why you hate quantum of solace for me it was about as nonsensical and boring as Casino Royale

See these new bond movies lack something called "charm" and "stlye" all it has is lumps of action and boring set pieces to blow sh!t up like a generic action movie yeah.. EXACTLY it didn't feel like a bond movie to me ! it felt like an ACTION MOVIE

i'm sorry i think Daniel is good as an actor but GOD he ain't Bond.. James bond is supposed to be charismatic,funny and quarky he has none of these qualities and to people who say that he's the best JB need seriously need watch older bond movies 10 times

If not anything he's the worst Bond ever in my opinion no charisma,no attitude,no stlye, nothing he's just so dull bland action hero stereotype

People who think that Skyfall is the "best " 007 movie EVERRR should definitely check out older bond movies where there were less explosions and more dialogs
