After fiddling around with the game for a bit, I noticed that a few tricks have sprung up since people have been playing DmC quite a bit. I've also done a few advanced tech as well (Invisible Prop & Ricoshot Stocking). As of now, the only techniques I know and seen are:

  • Invisible Prop/Drop (Has been patched)
  • Quick Drop
  • Ricoshot Stocking
  • Showdown Cancelling
  • Gun Cancelling
  • Infinite Angel Glide
  • Air Prop
  • Air Stinger
I also debated on including CalburRave as an advanced technique (resembles a StarRave, only with Calbiur). Although it's not very practical and it's much slower than an actual StarRave.

Anyway, here are a few videos with some of the techniques I listed along with other stuff that I haven't listed:

Feel free to add more to the thread. I'm sure there are some other stuff out that hasn't been pointed out already.

While I was playing around with the Revenant Bomb and Richoshot I managed to somehow shoot a Richoshot from the Revenant.

**** was pretty cash.

Anyway, some more advanced techniques:

Devil Trigger fall cancel

Dual Angel/Demon evade

Knockback buffering (charge E&I or Revenant if you get hit to the ground by an enemy)

Stomp -> Fireworks cancel (Precise timing to get the effects of both)

Kablooey JC? (should work, haven't tried it)

Should infinite angel glide be listed as an Advanced Techinique? I mean, outside flying forever, I don't see any use for it in combat.

It's worth noticing that Invisible Prop/Tremor is gone with the new patch

....:/ That makes me sad.

Hmm, you're right. But I think it still should be recognized since it's a pretty useful trick.

I don't think that Kablooey JC should be a separate technique since you're only using JCing to make Kablooey shoot at a faster rate, kinda like using Shotgun in DMC4/DMC3. And as for Stomp/Fireworks Cancel, I kinda included that in Stomp Cancelling mechanics. But we might have to make a separate movelist for Stomp since it's more useful than I thought it'd be.

i guess i see the reason for patching the game. But some of those glitches look stylish as hell. would even go as far as to say secret moves they didnt even know they made. It definatly make's you wanna play more just to uncover other hidden glitches that can be used in combat.

Hopefully they fix the Arbiter JC, also, using angel evade during a demon evade isn't a bug/glitch, or so I think, I don't see why shouldn't it be possible, it adds a lot to the combat

Cool stuff, would like to see some tutorial type things when it comes to timing for some of these (invisible prop for example)

Actually what is Calibur Raving? I know it isn't as good as star raving but I'm sure that if I add it to other techniques I can make something good. Either that or I just have a glorified image of it in my head and it isn't what I think it is.

I figured out that you can extend the time that your invisible during an angel dodge.

You just do a round trip, and immediately angel dodge into the ice dude's freeze attack. It'll add like a second to being invisible.

I don't see any use in doing it, but it looks pretty cool.
