I heard there weren't going to be as many bosses in this game.

For some reason I'm definitely hoping for a boss rush at the end of the game. Not really because I liked the boss rushes in DMC3 and 4, but more because I think I'd like a boss rush in this game.

Sadly it won't be :/ it's confirmed by Alex Jones that there is no recurring boss fights in the game and that every boss fight is fought once :/

They can't get worse than the Poison boss fight from the demo, can they?

Yes. They can.
Hunter from videos.
Really? The little I saw looked promising, though I did got a little bit worried about the SHOOT HIM WHILE HE SENDS HANDS AFTER YOU part. Maybe if you could parry the hands to bring him down immediatly like I think you can do with the dark place with flying sword part.

I didn't even expect any bosses for Vergil's Downfall, that's a great surprise! I hope it doesn't take long to come out to the PC users =C

So is the number of bosses really what you guys worry about? What if there only was 1 boss, an end boss of sorts... would that really mean the game would be lesser because of it?

I personally think there are more important aspects of a game than the number of boss fights that makes it a good game.

I wouldn't mind the number of bosses as long as they are fun to play (I enjoyed fight with Succubus. She was fun to toy with and she makes me laugh). I do wish they went with the DMC1 formula though
