Well maybe cause it's a reboot they switched arms. Plus the left hand always was considered "the hand possessed by satan" so why not?

They all have to start sometime.

Too bad his only view was his mother's womb.
yikes
that's perverted on a whole new level
nothing less to expect from the child of a demonic slut and owner of a strip club

I don't think it's anything. It's a deformed demon fetus. One of the classic ways to deform something is to give it disproportionate features.

We're also ignoring the fact that the thing's name is Killing Face, and that it's probably going to get murderized shortly after appearing.

There's also the fact that it has a bunch of arms growing out of its back, and the third eye on its head. That thing is nothing more than a boss monster.

Don't you think they'd do a little better at bringing in a character like Nero aside from ugly demon fetus...? You guys are really grasping at straws here :/

It is very unlikely that this is any preexisting character. And it is also very unlikely that anyone in this game is Nero. So this is definitely not Nero

i've read somewhere that vergil is the father of nero so i doubt that the baby is nero. i don't even think that that baby is lillith's child. i really hope lady or trish could be the child. tired of waiting for the game!!

Nero isn't Vergil's son. That's only a DMC fan speculation. Also it's pretty obvious that this is Lilith's kid due to the three eyes and it appearing at the night club stage.

I highly doubt that the baby could be Lady or Trish.

I think its just a coincidence or even a subtle nod but i dont think this kid is gonna live long enough to be anybody.

If he is to be Nero that would be good as it gives a greater hook and a clear origin. Plus it allows the character to grow into the lead role similar to how Rock Howard was introduced as a kid and we later got to play as him in the 3rd or 4th Fatal fury game.

Two problems people had with Nero was his vague connection to Dante and his out of the left field inclusion so with nero being this kid would sidestep those.

I'm against him being nero because I rather Nero just be a regular dude and everyman who isnt the chosen one or someone special like Dante or vergil. He should just be a half human half demon whose no one special.

if Dante is the symbol for the Poor and Vergil is the Rich and Order than Nero should be the middle class and Compromise.

Dont like bringing up old post but this news is incase no one read the Q/A today:

Thanks, CleaningGuy. Just to translate what it says on the site, the boss is called "Killing Face," and it's found in the Nightclub stage. It can bash Dante with its gnarly left arm and also move from one spot to another instantaneously, and it can perform both close and long-range attacks. Anything beyond that, you'll have to wait and see ;)

so yea the boss has a name and theres a small example of what it does so yea

Yeah, Crush already translated that text when it first showed up on DmC's site.

When I read that article I thought this baby has no refrences to the original series mundus as well as nero...never mind.
I will be hopping mad if he summons those sanskrit orbs.
But I thought it will be cool someday if Dante's kid or another incarnation and Mundus successor will fight or even siding with Dante like it was said in DMC1.

Ok I never noticed or saw the translation I apologize but yes this is a interesting thing. It kind of seems like a nero type deal with his ability

How so? His ability is to hit you with his gigantic arm, and teleport instantly across the room. Hardly counts as Nero-type moves >.<

I only play DMC3 and DMC4. So I take DMC4 as a sequel to DMC3. When I saw Nero, I thought he's Vergil reincarnation because of the blue color theme, white hair, almost same voice, and Yamato sycronised with him. Am I missing a storyline that Vergil son is Nero?

The design of Kiling face and Poison remind me to much of Resident Evil BW. Even the DmC start screen have that RESIDENT EVIL voice guy(you guys know what i'm talking about?). I sorta miss the sexy lady voice in DMC4:p.

Dante Redgrave

Son of Sparda
Nero's relation in the sparda family is rather ambiguous, with one Scenario writer holding the opinion he's Vergil's son, even though the timeline and given ages makes this impossible unless vergil impregnated a human woman at 10 years old. Considering Nero's color scheme is infact red ble and purple(the coat actually is a navy purple, not straight blue) and Yamato glows purple in his hands, it's more likely, IMO, that he's actually a reincarnation of Sparda himself, the age timing would be about right for Sparda's assumed death no less.

On to Killing face...no, I doubt he's meant to represent this universe' incarnation of Nero. Nero's a human turning into a demon, Killing face is some random boss, and teh whol;e deal with Lilith's child seems like a bigger deal than that.
