There were so many forced references I thought I was going to vomit. Trying too hard much? I think so. :/

I thought it was pretty neat. And making reference to the old DMCs isn't forced since they are from the same franchise... lol They can make as many references as they want and it will never be forced.

For example, naming the achievements after DMC on a Bayonetta game, now THAT is forced.

I'm telling you, the press already have their copies. The game is complete and in the next few weeks the leaks are going to be abound.

I see that most of the names are quotes from every DMC game prior. I realy which they wouldn't talk so much smack about the game if they are going to incorporate just as much into it.

Seems like they're giving homage to the original.

I'd rather they don't because some of those lines remind me of the worst DMC in my opinion; DMC4.

I never "had it" to begin with. I just made two posts about how the achievements were done that way to please the old fans and while it may seem forced to you, it really isn't meant to be. It's not like they forced themselves to make every single achievement a reference, they did it so that it would look like a nice gesture to older fans.

Then again, for haters, this is an insult of the highest caliber... there is also that. But nothing under the facade of being "forced."

The expression 'forced' in this case refers to the idea that the name hold little to no relation to the requirements to unlock the trophies/achivements it's named after, that the name used is kinda forced in order to follow the theme its going for.

I can see that. But I find it an acceptable compromise that the names are forced inorder to have them allbe DMC quotes.

Damn, now we basically know the ending, oh well many of us guessed it already..

Oh, by the way I think that the game isn't finished yet, the press got their versions of the game which will probably contain about 6-7 missions or something, I mean who would be so stupid to actually give them the full game 2 and a half months before release.

That would be like "Hey pirates wanna play the game? Here's your freebie, enjoy!"
