They want to try something new, obviously. I applaud that, instead of going safe and just do the same old thing. But I won't judge it before I see how it is in-game.

There's nothing like adding real-life into a video game...

Plus, do we really need it rubbing in that life just isn't that great?
In fact, i'm gonna go 'there', Tameem could really take the p*** and start a riot in the game to reflect the 'No Prospects' thing (anger at the world and c**p like that).
The only thing Dante should be angry about is the fact that he's messed up and that he's half angel/demon and has to find out who he is. (If that's what this is about)...

Actually, Some people that can't get a job maybe gamers, so he should be careful about his ideas, plus classing todays generation with 'no prospects' gives them a label, and not all are like that.

(Apologies failed rant)
 
I think he's making the story up as he goes along....

I think we all know it began with:
*Tameem looked in the mirror* "Who's that hadsome guy? I know, he could be Dante"
*Tameem watches news* (eg Riots) "No prospects... I'll add that"
*Tameem Listens to... the most sh**tiest music ever devised* (eg Friday by Rebecca Black just picked that outta the air) and is inspired!
*He plays DMC1-4, Bayonetta and Dante's Inferno and thinks* I could pull different elements from all of the games. Add a lot from heavenly sword and create DmC... MWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

(I'm getting carried away.... I think I'll just Leave *whistles*)

I'm sorry, but I can't help but giggle at you haters' comments. XD

If NT is taking this approach, it's because they want to make something out of it and that they think it will fit into their interpretation of the DMC world and Dante as a character. That you don't like the ideas doesn't mean that they are bad.

I know you won't listen to me, but maybe it you could try and NOT be so judgemental and see where this goes before you make an opinion of it. Just a suggestion.

When they come up with the proof that they haven't entirely effed up the franchise, that is when I'll be happy!

Of course you can have opinions. I am not telling you to shut up. On a contrary, I am asking you to try and be open-minded and discuss the possibilities of this game, but instead you have already made up your mind and is hating on it before it is even out yet.

So please, don't try and victimize yourself.

We are not laughing at you "NT praisers" so please do not look down your nose at us.

Its ok to have a opinion on what is shown currently.

No one WANTS to hate this game dude.

But so far NT is putting out a product that ALOT of DMC fans are not into.

People can dislike whatever they wish. I'm no NT "praiser", as I find their work lacking in some aspects, but they do know how to tell a good story through gaming media. This game has the potential to suck incredibly just as much as it has potential to become amazing.

What I ask is for people not to judge it prematurely. And that is what I see alot of in this forum. And that is what I look down at and laugh at, with good reason. I have no respect for narrowminded people who make up their mind about something without knowing half of it - and that means both haters and lovers.

I agree, it is quite alright to make an opinion about what has been shown so far. But then only judge THAT! However, it occurs to me that many people go "I don't like the way Dante looks like in this game... so this game is going to suck, and I shall post on a random DMC forum and tell everyone how much I hate every bit of this game, no matter what." ... And I would like to avoid that.

But then again, who am I to ask of such a thing? This is the internet. Haters gonna hate, and all those random clichés popping up on the internet... Right?

Stop victimizing yourselves. You aren't victims.

I'm, like, the only one here who thinks so far it's a 'meh' game.

I do not like what I've seen so far, but I'm trying, oh God, I'm trying to be open minded and positive about this game. So far, everything that's happened has made me just go, "eh.... w/e"

And who are you to look down your nose at everyone on the forum for having a less favorable opinion regarding NT?

All I ever see you do is stick up for this game and attack anyone who has anything slightly negative to say about this game.

Why is it so freaken hard for you to let people have their opinions?

I could go around calling everyone who has something good to say about the game Capcom butt lickers or NT fanboys but I DON'T.

I'm not about to go and challenge every post that has something good to say about the game like you do to people who have something bad to say about it.

Ain't gonna happen, because that means everyone will just have to shut up till the game comes out.

And the whole point and purpose of a forum is to voice and exchange thoughts and opinions. Isn't it?

You want to be open-minded. We want to voice and discuss our concerns or perhaps disappointment. We aren't telling you what you should be doing. Please don't tell us what we should be doing.

Well, what I would like to see more of is people pondering why NT might have done what they have done, instead of people just going "This is stupid, I hate this". There's ALOT of things we could discuss, but instead the threads on this forum all turn into a war about who's opinions are better. And it is rather ridiculous... in my opinion.

Anyways, I apologize on ToCool's and my own behalf about turning this thread around a corner that it shouldn't.
Let's get back on topic, shall we? ^^
