what would be the best place to fight in a devil may cry game. Here are the places they have already done.
Dmc1: mallet island/castle.
Dmc2: weird *** buildings and underworld sections and underwater parts.
Dmc3: Teme-ni-gru, and outside on the streets, and inside the Leviathan.

so where else would be sweet to fight?

Best arena in my opinion is the room Dante and Nelo Angelo fight in for their final round in DMC1. Nothing beats a gothic room with a throne, stairs, huge windows and a storm raging outside.

Wesker's #1 fan!
1. A foggy mountain top in Japan.
2. A dungen.
3. An old dark, ancient, haunted forest.

That's all I can think of right now.

Oh wait, you wanted ideas for new arenas?

In that case, I would say on the back of a moving vehicle of some kind :D

^ Sounds good, back of Leviathan would have been suitable but I guess its kind of late for that :p

I definitely DON'T want more underwater places. They were one of the most annoying thing in the first Devil May Cry>_<

^ they only disallow you to use good weapons, i think they should do an underwater devil trigger that's really cool.

They change: 1) The camera which sucks.
2) You have but only one gun, which sucks.
3) No devil trigger, not that it is needed but it sucks anyway.
4) Dante/Character is stripped of all his moves except crappy swimming forward, up and down.
5) No taunt which sucks.
6) If this was in the recent DMCs you wouldn't have the style moves as well..which also sucks.
7) Because you're underwater, your surroundings appear blurred which sucks.
8) Your style meter becomes nearly impossible to rise if it will appear at all.

I really don't want to see any new underwater Devil May Cry missions in the near future even if they upgrade it. Devil May Cry is all about action and cool/fast moves/attacks. Water strips you of all that.

^ Yeah your right, besides Dt the rest sucks and Dt would'nt be enough to make people enjoy the undewater sections more.
So I actually decided I dont want underwater, but i'd like to see ariel missions.

Aerial or Semi-aerial missions should be great. The boss Mundus fight in the air was cool and the Semi-Aerial battles that God of War 2 introduced were nice as well. As Dante flies (in Devil Trigger) it would be nice to have some kind of those missions. But I think it's a bit early for it yet.

^cool, like you get to target with your guns and shoot as you fall.
yeah introducing ariel missions is to soon i agree, still they'd be cool.

On the subject of underwater missions, I personally wouldnt mind, if they made Dante swim like Raziel does in Soul Reaver. The Drowned Abbey was one of he most atmospheric areas in the game, and I really liked it.

The falling mission sounds fun, but it depends on how well it would be made. If it was next to a wall it would be cool to add downward wall running etc, much like the DMC3 scene Razer mentioned. Also, it would have to be done in a way that the distance doesnt seem far longer a drop than it should be.
