DOAX3 Only Coming to Asia & Japan

Hay Guy's i Don't Post here Much, But i wanted to Ask if you Guy's would sign this & pass it on or at the very least pass it on. i am a huge DOA fan i have been since i was very young & i have been asking for years if there would ever be a DOAX3 & now there will be,but it will only be coming to Asia & japan. i ask that you do this because this is pretty much what happened with DMC4:SE when it was coming out.

if you Don't know what DOAX3 is well it's pretty much all the female characters of DOA on a island on vacation & they compete with one another in Volleyball Matches & other cool stuff like jet ski racing & such, so in a few words it's a party game with the DOA girls in it.

Also it was said in a recent famitsu Mag that it might Come to NA but it would be "Altered" for The US. I Don't know if they mean they are going to Censor it or cut stuff out, but if you Sign the Petition Leave a Small Comment saying you would like the game to Come to NA Unaltered Or Changed. this is the link to that Article

yup i just saw that, so 9 girls will be on the Console & the other 9 will be on the Vita. in ordering to get the one you want you have to vote by buying a freaking PSN themes omg i have never heard of something so dumb. if that was the case why not just make the thems free..freaking dumb as crap.

People speculate the reason why they used this system is to make voting more fair.
Though I'd love it if all the profit from it is then invested into charity.

I think it be better of as a DLC for DOA/NG cause people tend to see these games as Team ninja relying too much on DOA sex appeal rather than solid game play like the other two.

So hopefully they do make it a fun party game with good mechanics.

Thats not what I'm saying tho. I'm saying people feel that they rely too much on the franchise 's sex appeal rather than actually being a good game with great gameplay like NG or the actual DOA fighting game.

So turn that around I'd suggest they make it a great party game that has more value than seeing the cast in a bikini which isn't a selling point in the age of youtube.

I'm not saying dont use the sex appeal, im just saying give me more to it than that.

That whole SJW Mind set needs to be thrown out the window @Chancey289 Dude i posted this so those who did like the game would be in the know & want to talk about it & try to bring the game over here & this is part of the general discussions Section. if you Don't like the game or wish to talk about it then move along & let those who do talk about it.

Right now DMC4:SE is Out & there has not been any news as of yet about DMC at all, so i was just hoping for A Discussion about another Japanese Game that i really love, again you can always leave.

Back on topic the last game had jet ski races i would really love for them to improve upon that a lot more i would also like to see surfing i think that could really be cool. anyone have any ideas for some cool Side or mini games ? i was also thinking Bumper cars & Carnival style games. or maybe have a group of the girls go through the fun house with Zack jumping out making funny faces

VampireWicked Those are all pretty cool idea's especially the football one i was hoping there would be focus on other types of stuff besides just Volley Ball & since it's just called DOAX3 maybe they can add some light Skateboarding on like a boardwalk close to the beach. i also love the idea of maybe having the island broken up into small parts like a hub world that you could free-roam.

in each hub there would be Different stuff like a Dance Club that would be kinda like Dance Dance revolution along with a karaoke Stage that you could sing on. i would like what ever hotel your in you can freely walk around in like you said in both First & third person, maybe Each Girl go's to a different one so it adds to the replay value. i have a huge list of stuff i would really like to see

@absolitude Right now it's only coming to the PS4 over in asia & japan and there will be a ps vita version as well, but you gotta vote for which girl you would like to see on the ps4 since they are only using 8 or 9 of them & the other 8 or 9 will be on the Ps vita version.

so you can buy both or wait for the NA Copy where all of them will be on it, but from the way they are talking it will be altered in someway AKA censored. that & we don't even know if we are getting A NA copy

the thing with the male characters is that there is a wider range of ages between them than the female characters so for them it be like hanging out with your dad (which is true for Tina) rather than a friend.

A way to spin it would be to give them jobs on the resort like have Gen Fu teach yoga or Brad as a bartender. You could even do a host club type activity with Ryu/Hayate.

plus with the Virtua fighter crossover you have more options to choose from (in both female and male characters)

@VampireWicked I Would Not mind if the Guy's where in the game, maybe at the start Menu you can pick Between Male or Female, but i think that playing as a guy should be a Little different. like Say i am Ryu he might be there to Investigate something on the island like in an undercover way almost like a Detective, maybe Tina's Dad might have his own wrestling Team going on & so on. so Each one of them has there own role & goal on the island & there own set of unique gameplay mechanics.

the goal for the girls is mostly get as many high Priced Swimsuits as possible, so there needs to be more ways to get the money to do so besides just Vollyball. also there is Only a set number of Day's you have to be on the island, i think that should be done away with & you should be given the choice to leave or not. sometimes you are trying to earn enough money for a swimsuit but then time is up & you have to start all over again.

update on poll results.

Well in DOA5 Helena is in charge of DOATEC and Zack works with her so maybe having Helena actually open a legit resort and invite the other cast members to help out in a variety of roles could be the reason for the game's plot.

Its a bit of a spin from the old games but its gives a chance for a wider range of scenarios and interactions that could shows these characters in a different light which could appeal to people.

Plus the DOA tournament in universe seems to be a sporting events that has a following so you could play around with the fame that would bring.

Im not necessarily a fan of Virtua Fighter myself but since they have it, they might as well use it. I think there are fans that wouldnt mind a legit VF vs DOA game so this could be used to scratch that itch.

I agree about seeing a full crossover between the two rather than the guest appearances in 5 but thats more because there are other characters I rather they bring like Irene Lew and Robert Sturgeon for NG and I'd get Donovan off his bum.

But i guess the reason why they didnt do a full crossover would be because team ninja was under management so Tecmo would want him to prove his stripes.

It be funny if Sega calls in Itagaki tho to come in and revamp Virtua Fighter.

@VampireWicked I was going to have the story for both the males & the girls where they come in contact with one another. however you have to take into mind that there are some guy's who don't like to play as girls & find that odd so it would help ease those types into it. the girls would be there & you could Train & Dance with them & such, but if not you have a main goal you can focus on & just play that way . even though it is mostly a big party game, but for those who just want a core story to run though i think that could really help in bringing new players into it


@Z218 Thanks for the updates, man Glad to know Helena might make it i just really hope Momiji gets in though i freaking love her, i really hope NG4 comes out sometime soon but more in line with sigma 2. that whole steel on bone crap was just ugh

Secret investigation? This is just DOA X. So here's a simple idea, just let people do the same thing with the guys they do with the girls.

I never got to play NG3 as i didn't get through the demo but i see your point as alot of people didn't like the initial ng3 release as they thought it was too stripped down from what the others were in terms of gameplay (some even called it alpha)

In NG3 they were trying to imitate the west in being story focused but that became its biggest weakness because the story fell apart by the end (which also happened wth DoA5). So with this game and any others, lets just try to tell a simple story that shows that these are characters that could interest you outside of how they fight or look.

Its not that it was bad for them to try and tell a story but it was more what they were trying to say and how they tried to tell it were bad.

Virtua Fighter does lack style so maybe find a new art director or maybe just create a new fighter that is more current because it does look retro 90s anime (hell the clip you showed does seem 90s arcade stuff even if its on the ps3).
