Well, an official games rating body rated DMC 4: SE for PC, so it's less a rumor and more like a record-keeping mistake if it's not true. I wouldn't say it's true for sure, but this isn't like some online store opening a listing ahead of schedule or anything. It certainly seems legit.

Haha, yeah, I think what I've realized from this discussion is that we have entirely too many games with a solitary guy staring at us down on the cover. I guess the same goes for many films, too.

Yeah, if there is no PC release of either, I think I'll probably buy DmC later this year and DMC 4: SE on day one. It's nothing personal, it's just that I've totally maxed out my interest in DmC since it came out and DMC 4 has a lot of fresh nostalgia for me to get into. Plus, of course, dat old-school Vergil just can't be denied. I basically loved DmC to bits and now all that's left is crumbs. Even then, the more Devil May Cry, the better. Capcom should just call it The Year of DMC and get crazy celebrating DMC 3's 10th anniversary and both rereleases like it's going out of style.

So, it seems the last stream is gonna happen in the next hours...Can't wait to watch it!

God, I can't believe the game is already gonna be released next week. Talk about time flying so fast. ;)

I can definitely see your point. I've got hundreds of hours into DmC and with no new story content, I'll basically be doing the same thing all over again. But I'm looking forward to playing a good hack and slash game on my PS4, I've been missing a Devil May Cry game on current gen like I've got a sore thumb.

Depending on what new content is coming on the special edition, I might buy that too, but if it's just an HD upgrade for consoles I'll stick with my PC version.

I'd love to see Devil May Cry 3 come to PS4/Xbox One! People keep calling it one of the best hack and slash games ever and yet I haven't finished it on my PS2.

just watched the new cutscene. it's true, it's nothing crucial. nice little addition but i can see why it was left out.

I actually saw a stream last night on Live from PS4. Someone was showing a walk through and I happen to come in right around the time of the new scene.

I didn't and i don't think it was that obvious that she got out of her body during the torture to scout the area.
Well, how did you think she got such detail information of such a large tower? As hilarious as it might've been I doubt Mundus gives tours of his mega tower to all of his torture guests.

Now we know how Kat got all the juicy info which makes me wonder why they left that cutscene out to begin with.

I KNOW.

When I was playing through vanillia DmC, I was like how implausable is it that Mundus takes Kat prisoner and she somehow learns the layout of Mundus's lair.

Its implausable that someone who's been taken to a torture chamber figures out to disable what is an impregnable fortress. That also explains how she survived torture.

Finally, theres a good explaination for that, and a great heartwarming moment between Dante, Vergil and Kat.

I guess not everybody can have your clairvoyance. I personally didn't think that Kat could trick someone as powerful as Mundus so i'm glad they put the cutscene back in to explain all that.

It seemed pretty obvious that's what she had done, considering they established her tendency to astral project to avoid the pain of abuse before, of course she'd do it under torture and explore Silver Sacks while in Mundus' captivity.

It's not exactly a matter of clairvoyance, just...paying attention...I guess?

On-topic! Seeing the stream they really did ramp up the bosses, and one thing I'm extremely happy about is that the mid-fight chatter seems to have been reprogrammed so it's actually prevalent. There was all this chatter that I knew existed in the game, but it seems the coding hiccupped a lot of the time. Not that it's that important to gameplay, but for the overall presentation, it's certainly welcome that it's been figured out.

 Clairvoyance is a bit much. It's a matter of simply putting 2 and 2. It's no different than figuring out that Vergil was going to pull the 'I'm evil' card at the end.

@TWOxACROSS. Dude, with the double posting, ese.

She was being held by the ruler of Hell. I personally think it's a bit far fetched to think that all she(a mere human) has to do was to go into her astral form to be able to wander freely in his domain that's why i dismissed that possibility when playing through the game. That being said if that's the explanation they wanna give us, i'll take it.

True, yet Mundus was preoccupied with other things and he was probably too arrogant to think a mere human would undermine him. He was focusing on finding Dante, the Nephlim; he didn't think his defeat could come at the hands of a human. Thats why I thought it works.

And yeah TWOxACROSS, I'm glad they filled the boss fights with more dialogue. It adds just that bit extra layer of presentation.
