It's an FF crack pairing. After getting tired of all the crap I've been hearing between them, it's time I take a stand and show they're two different people with many similarities (not exactly on their physique and appearance, especially the facial resemblance) and I think they're awesome together side-by-side.

I honestly can't see how people claim them to be the same character.

Both are unique and different in their own way, which makes them Badass.

Well, Tetsuya Nomura did say he based Lightning's design from Cloud, hence why he said 'female Cloud' about her. And a lot of fans made hasty conclusions that she and Cloud are the same person or these two should be relatives (i.e. twin siblings, cousins, Cloud the dad and Light his daughter, etc.) I am really tired of that BS!

I have to agree with you on the last part. Indeed, they are unique and different in their own ways, which sets each other apart and, from what you've said, badass! :D

Same goes for vice-versa. I think Lightning is even manlier than Cloud. In fact, she might toughen him up just like she did with Hope (but I still don't like Hope x Lightning) and make a real man out of him.
