I've got Final Fantasy, Devil May Cry, Boom Boom Rocket, DOOM, Starcraft, etc.

My ideal game?

A Metroid game that has the same over the top fighting as DMC while keeping the exploration factor.

Metroid: Other M will be just that!

My ideal game is Devil May Cry 5.

I've got two,
A first person shooter with not only a very large landscape to fight on, but a large arsenal of weapons and hordes (and I mean Hordes) of enemys at once. (Halo Reach)

And a thrid person fighter with large areas, many types of enemys to fight, and destructive and fun powers and weapons to waste them with.(Devil may cry 5)

The games I write down are just a small fraction of my "ideal games".Other than that...depends on the genre.

I think a combat game that can involve both hand-to-hand combat and melee combat would be my ideal game. Currently hand-to-hand combat is best in 2-D and melee in 3-D. Probably an engine that can mix both genre's should be exciting to play.
