Write the openeing cutscene for DmC2.

REAPER 3142

Revenge Solves Everything..............
Title says it all. I feel as though to start off it should be pretty Vergil heavy. Maybe have Dante narrating the opening, explaining the collapse of society and Vergil's journey to becoming a tyrant. Explain the new threat to both the brothers (The Angels.). Show Dante's desperate attempt to save as many people as he can but he is by himself and extremely outnumbered and fails. A few years go by. Final scene is Dante, Kat and Phineas holding up in a partially destroyed building, coming up with their next move against Vergil as well as how to avoid the Angel's.

That's a pretty hectic thing to process... there's a lot of content in here that needs to be thought over and reviewed, so I'll perhaps work on something and post my version soon. ^^

Hmmm, tough one.

A set up established about what the world is like now that humans are aware of the demons and the dangers that come with it. Dante out stylishly slaying some demons [possibily even Kat accompanying him to help like in DmC] to work as a tutorial level and serve as a catch up on the story.

If a two-player, Dante and Vergil should team up in a temporary alliance to resolve something that endangers not just Vergil's plans to rule but the world itself, forcing them to work together. For this maybe Vergil goes to Dante directly to propose the idea, if bribing Dante over with the possibilty during all this chaos [if from angels, demons, both races fighting or the worlds between the demon/angel worlds no longer being un-crossable] there may be an open window to free their father and rescue him. And knowing Dante would be brought into this chance to save their dad, might work for Vergil in turn if he had a secret agenda where he was in need of Dante's help, which in turn would hold him off from killing Dante just yet.

That, or Dante's chained up like in the debut trailer after being captured by the feds who still think he's a terrorist and he's being interrogated. I was sad something like that didn't make it into DmC in the first place.

I can't think of anything... so I'll just jump the shark.

DmC2: Angels have taken over. The populace is pious, yet submissive. Dante decides to put a stop to this nonsense ricky tick. He slowly climbs upwards through "Paradise", which has taken the place of "Limbo". He goes up to meet the High Archangel, but is defeated. Dante is then saved at the last minute by Vergil, and they defeat the archangel together before turning on each other for the final battle.

Yep. I'm officially out of ideas.

Then fans tell people not to buy the game because it looks too much like Bayonetta and only sells 200,000 copies.

THE END

the city is beautiful. but only from above. up close its as rotten as a demon's soul. footsteps beat the ground. running. it runs. a demon. its a runs into an alley and takes a breath. it peers around the corner to see if it's safe to come out of hiding.
the demon looks up and sees a figure with two guns at the ready. the demon runs from the figure but everywhere it looks, he is there. finally the demon comes to a dead end. the figure walks up to the demon. it comes into the light. the figure is a highly attractive raven haired woman with mis-match eyes. the demon cocks its head as if it were wondering what it was afraid of.
woman: expecting someone else?
the demon lunges towards the woman and is shot in the head. this leads us into the intro, which narrates the events of DmC and VD. then we cut to a small building, sorta run down, with a blank sign in front. inside dante is seen sleeping at his desk with a bottle of vodka next to him. the phone rings and dante wakes up. he looks at a picture of his mother and in the corner, a picture of kat. he runs his fingers over the picture of kat and smiles. he answers the phone.
dante: hello?
voice: daaaaaaaaaaaaannnnteee
dante hangs up and tosses his phone on the desk.
dante: ****ing prank callers.
a man walks through the door and looks at dante.
dante: can i help you?
the man says nothing for a few seconds. its eyes change color and face distorts
man:...foooouuund yooooouuu
dante shoots the demon in the head. more demons pop up in dante's shop
dante: ugh. well now.
dante reveals his rebellion
dante: this is gonna be one helluva party

Philosopher and fangirl. Worst. Combination. Ever.
Soundtrack: something creating a suspended atmosphere, like a combination of those two pieces:
I imagined this scene while listening to them both simultaneously.

It's night. We are shown empty streets of a destroyed city, as if we were running through them. We can hear rapid footsteps and a breath of someone running. The street seems completely empty, and we see can see abandoned cars, signs of little explosions, cracked doors and windows, even some corpses littering the street. Not all of them are humans, some have strange shapes and body parts. Dark stains are covering the walls and the street, we understand that it is probably blood.
The running person we are "following" (although we can't see them still) takes a sudden turn in a crossing large street, and the screen goes black for a moment.

The music turns down a bit, and we hear now calm footsteps. A voice starts reciting slowly, accompaining the images.
Midway upon the journey of our life
The camera moves up slowly to show a wooden pavement of what we can understand is a library. On a far corner of it, we see an old armchair, and, resting against it, a katana in a black sheath. An elegantly dressed man is walking towards it (since he is placed just over the camera, for now we can only see the back of his feet and his lower legs, and the lower part of his black coat). From the voice and the clothes we can clearly recognize him as Vergil.
I found myself within a forest dark
As Vergil slowly walks towards the armchair a falling sheet covers the camera, and once again we have a change of scene.
The same effect of a sheet flying thorugh the air is used again, but this time it is a newspaper sheet flying through the street of the city of before, but this time the street seems to be leading outside the town, and in the distance, after an open field, we can see a forest of dark trees whose leaves are shaking in the wind.
For the straightforward path had been lost
Now we are seeing things from the eyes of the person who is running through the field in the direction of the forest. For a moment, we catch a glimpse of a rapid momevement on the grass to our left, and the person tries to speed up. The breath now comes out even more strained.
When we pass the first trunk of the forest, the scene changes again to the library.
The camera now is showing a table covered in ancient books of balck magic, then slowly moves again to Vergil, who is standing near the armchair, reading a small book with a red-brownish hard cover. The camera moves to a close-up of the cover of the book, and we can briefly read that it is Dante Alighieri's Inferno before we are brought back to the scene in the forest, as Vergil's voice continues reading.
Ah! how hard a thing it is to say
We are now seeing the silhouette of a young man running through the woods, sometimes tripping, and casting rapid and frightened glances backwards and on his sides.
Now Vergil's voice is a little more concitated and hard in reciting the poem.
What this forest savage, rough, and stern
As the boy continues his sprint through the forest (we are seeing him from a certain distance and from his right side now), a large beastly shadow quickly passes in front of the camera, and we are sent back to the library.
The last line is once again recited in a calmer voice.
Which in the very thought renews the fear
We see Vergil picking up Yamato from the armchair, and solemnly exiting the library, closing the door behind himself.
As the music rises in volume again, we are back in the forest, seeing things from the boy's eyes. He is desperately running, but continuously trips over roots and hurts braches, his breath more and more erratic. Shadows are everywhere around him, appearing and disappearing between the woods.
The boy trips once again, and this time falls. He quickly turns to look at the sky, and between the branches of the trees sees a large full moon. The music rises louder, reaching a peak, and the monstrous shadows of three beast-shaped demons jump on him. The boy covers his face with his hand, and the screen goes black again. The music abruptly stops, replaced by the high-pitched scream of the boy. Then there is silence.
After a few seconds of silence and black screen, we are given a last image of the book Vergil was reading, laying open on the armchair of the library, while Vergil's voice, now more cavernous, declaims
All hope abandon, ye who enter in.
The screen fades to black once again, and the game title appears....

Hmm...I dunno. But I do hope they start with Vergil's story first. As a matter in fact, I predict that if we get a DmC2, we start with Vergil first to see how he deals with the demon army.

Don't care how long it'll take, I bet $500!!

Don't mess with a Mage, bitch.
Ok. let me see:

(Scene from mission 20)

Vergil: Revolution is in the air

(cut to black)

Dante (voiceover) :My brother was right.

(scene comes in of humans fighting demons, most of the humans wearing combat gear, but a black haired girl wearing a biker jacket over a T-shirt and jeans. In the distance looms a wicked looking tower)

Dante (voiceover) But he was also wrong. Humans are stronger than he gave them credit for. The demons had to step their game up.

(ground shakes around the human and demon combatants)
Human soldier: HellHound!

Girl: (pulls out M-5) Father, what have you done?

(Massive black dog, with a red helm and gaurds for it's forelegs appears)

(shot to rooftop, where we see the boots of someone)
Dante: Hell hound. One of the newer breeds. (camera scrolls up to reveal-

)

Dante: (performs Vergil's neck crack) Let's get to work! (jumps down toward the demon, swinging Rebellion. The swing slashes through the screen to reveal

DmC2: Dante's Return

DragonMaster2010

Don't Let the Fall of America be Your Fall
It would start at night in the remains of Mundus's building. It's completely wrecked and the roof has been destroyed. Walking within the wreckage is Vergil who is amazed as to the hell gate portal still being up even though much has been destroyed. He then looks over in the horizon of the night and sees a few fires out of building windows and then smirks as he mutters "The world is under your protection, right Dante?" he scoffs and then says, "Some protecting." He walks back to Mundus's desk and sits in it as he places Yamato on the side and the camera pins out as he stars into the city's darkness.

We cut to the credits of people who made the game as we go to a gym that had other people boxing or working out. A very muscular, tall, and fat boxer has just beaten an opponent and was being a cocky asshole to everyone. He pretty much was calling out his next opponent saying who wants some. He gets a good look at a man who was going off on a punching bag like no tomorrow. The young man had a red long hooded sweat jacket, over black sweat pants and black high top shoes. the hood was over his head and he wore black gloves. The fat boxer thinks the bag has had enough abuse, to which the red coated man replies "at least he's lasting. You'd go down after the first punch." This annoys the fat boxer as he says that he could snap him like a twig without even trying. The red coated male stopped punching the bag and says "to the ring."

Gameplay starts as you learn the basics of punching, special attacks, aerial attacks, and so on.

After knocking him out by punching him hard in the face, he comes back up to reveal his true demonic form and sends a spike that almost cuts the red coated man's face, but it barely missed and cut half his hood. The man takes off the hood to reveal his white hair and says "alright lard ass, let's go." And so the stadium transforms into a wider, more dangerous stage as Dante summons rebellion and ask one of the humans to throw him his bag. One does so and from there Dante grabbed Ebony & Ivory.

You learn the basics of your sword and guns here while also learning how to upgrade and such.

You just fight him for this mission as he's a boss to beat.

After a powerful swing of his sword, Dante subdued the fat demon and stood on his gut with his sword on his shoulder as he says "And that's a Knockout." Before Dante finishes him, he warns him that letting the demons free into the human world will cost him dearly in the long run, and that he will see the error of his idiotic ways soon. He goes to say whether he really is Earth's salvation or its demise? Dante replies "Guess you won't be here to find out. And when the gate keeper to hell ask you who sent your bitch ass down there, tell em' this. My name is Dante." And then he slashes the screen and the Title appears.

Small Notes

For Dante, his hair would look more like Tony Stark's in Iron Man 2 during the race track attack and he'd also have a small patch of hair on his chin.
