It reached Capcom's sales expectations after all. It got to 1.2 million last month. It's hard to find the link and too lazy to find it so if anyone can find it, good!

And IMO, that's not really bad. At least it didn't take a whole year or two to reach its goal.

It jus increased by 0.05 of a million.Last reported sales was 1.15 million. Besides, there have been a lot of discount sales lately.

$13 on PSN for halloween. Full price has also gone down so it's not hard to believe, there were alot of people who are still waiting for price to go down before committing to a purchase. There is also the issue that the game met it's projections but at what price? Were there expectations for the full $60 price tag or maybe lower. Just the same, I can't imagine that this is what they were hoping for when they came up with those numbers.

Where'd you get this info anyway. I always thought sale got put up at the end of Capcom's...year thingy [dammit what's it called again? ;_;]

Btw, is the emoticon's working for everyone? All I need are empty boxes with a paper torn icon.

You mean fiscal year? For Japan, that runs from April to March the following year, so they still have time to make sales.

Personally, I'm just glad the game went over 1million sales. ^_^

But what does that achieve? It contributes nothing to a discussion...nothing intelligent anyway; and p!sses people off. It would be okay if it was actually funny or intelligent, but most of the time, trolling isn't either of those things. I also wasn't aware we had a trolling king here. Like they say on Game Of Thrones: 'Any man who must say, "I am the king" is no true king.'
Maybe we should make a thread in the general section for people to troll each other if they really feel the urge to do so? It would save a lot of threads from being cluttered up and derailed.

I'm getting the same thing, but I'm still using them with the assumption that other users can see them in my post.

Are you suggesting that all those ponies I've posted over the years, all those joke threads where I compared the two Dantes without saying which one is which, all of the times I've made false links were for NOTHING!

Loopy, I've been trolling this site since 2011 while staying on the mods good side.
No one else here can claim that achievement,
And my throne is far superior to all others
I mean really, what other throne is a toilet with Adam West Batman stickers on it

As for being for nothing, well, that's subjective.

I really don't think trolling is an achievement. It's not like this forum awards medals for it. Although you have earned yourself a few warnings.
On the other hand, this forum does award its members with 'likes' points. I suppose those are a better indicator of achievement on this forum, along with the 'notable members' section of the forum. But that's only if you're looking for validation from a virtual world. People have lives outside of the internet where they make real achievements.

Anyway, I'll leave it at that before this thread becomes derailed.

You know what I mean. Certain people are downplaying the fact that it met sales expectations. I consider that to be "affecting the thread negatively". Trolling is just 'shorthand' for that.

Maybe I should have just said, "The Flame is strong with this one." Or at the very least, the 'spark' that becomes the flame eventually.

Anyway, sad to see you leaving this thread; though I can understand why you did it. I shall also take my leave in due time to be able to avoid any... difficulties I would have to suffer later on.

Also, I think digital sales most likely count. There really isn't any reason as to why they shouldn't.

No, I don't think digital sales or PC sales count, and I haven't been able to find any article pertaining to this story, I'm pretty sure the game hit well over 1.2 million a long time ago if they had included PC sales and digital sales; one of the issues plaguing capcom is their delayed implementation of digital content delivery systems.

Also, yeah, I expect better at this point from certain posters, but it is what is, the same old incendiary party pooper responses: well did they mean full price or they originally meant 2 million?" You guys just can't let it go can you. Do you do the same for MGR, which is also on sale with dlc and everything, I mean it came out even sooner than DmC and its already slashed in half, must be a total failure, damn platinum sucks. *troll face*
