I bought this wireless controller at game stop a while ago. its their brand and it doesn't work. Help!!!!

Stupid Question: Are there batteries in it? If so, ensure they are charged and the right way round 
I only say this because I have been victim to this many times lol
Otherwise, perhaps you need to clear any suct away from the Controller Slots (where the reciever plugs in).
Third, if you have a radio on or other elements, try turning them off as it may interfere with the signals

looking for it. its somewhere in the pit of despair AKA my bedroom. or it is my junk closet. in the basement. looking.....
EDIT: 12:46pm found it. no batteries. trying to put batteries in. trying to unscrew the damn screws....
