Windows XP must hate me

lol sorry, im in a random mood

The problem i have is that on my brothers PC, schools PC and pretty much every PC i use when you hold shift and 3, you get a pound sign, i get # <-- that lol, my keys are messed up, but not all of them, e.g. my # is \ and my \ is \, anyone know how i can solve this annoying problem

Also my ASCII keys are wrong alt+232 gives a funny little p with a line, that old smiley i had, on this PC its Φ<-- wtf?

It happens quite often really, don't know why, but Windows XP has this thing about randomly reconfiguring your keyboard so it's on American set up, I'll get back to you on how to reset it to default English.
