Will Dante take over The Order?

Ronin

Let's rock, baby!
I wonder since Vergil made the Order, will Dante take his place as leader in case when Vergil make it out of the Demon World?

If so, Dante can get out of those rags and switch to a suitable outfit at the end into the Dante we know. Who knows, maybe he can make like a "unit" that hunts down demons.

Mission: Devil May Cry.

Dante doesn't seem like a person who could be a leader to a big group like that. He's more like a solo who does whatever he wants, or whatever he's forced to do by someone else. And in fairness, Dante isn't stupid, but he's still not the smartest one either, so it could be too difficult a task for him to hop into the boots of a big wig.

And yep, like others said, I think the Order is going to suffer in some way. Like break down under Mundus' power etc.

Dante may have to fight every last one of them.

The final one that he chooses not to kill will be Vergil's son. NEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I douth there'll be a Nero. I'm still saying that the baby Mudus made'll be Trish but what do I know, I'm just an spectator.

I agree with Kammo here, Dante doesnt have the patience or foresight for it.

I think the Order will become a new political party and Vergil might aim for presidency ( if he survives ). Dante is too cool for that so I guess he just kills more demons...

Then what if he decides to make his own group? A demon hunting business "Devil May Cry".

It's possible, actually that's probably what's gonna happen, however I don't see it becoming a shop like in previous DMC's more like a public service, like special police forces or something...

dante doesnt look like a leader figure to me, besides i think the order will be destroyed in the game, vergil and kat included and dante will do his own thing when its all said and done

Nah, Vergil's in his early twenties. So even if he is Nero's father, Nero would be a baby at the moment.

Is the game going to have a cliffhanger?

There are way too many characters already. I don't think Vergil will die, but I doubt he is a good guy. Even if he is, he'll probably be corrupted. Maybe Dante destroys Mundus, and the fragments of his power go to Vergil, and he starts acting strange, leading to a possible sequel...

We have Mundus, Lilith and their devil child...

It could be possible that the Devil child will be the next enemy if there's a DmC2

While your explanation is very reasonable, it doesn't fit in that universe.

Every DMC game had a complete plot regarding the villains. Mundus in the first. Arius in the second, Vergil in DMC 3 and Sanctus in DMC 4. If the unborn child is indeed a boss, it'll be defeated in that game. I guess the better cliffhanger would be Vergil betraying Dante, even though it's predictable.

What if Vergil left some stuff for Dante as a gift. A new home that he can make as his own business as "Devil May Cry" and new clothes to get rid of those rags.

Of course, he'll even use this shop to hire special people like himself to fight all the demons. Half-breeds of demons, angels, oni... maybe nephilim.

So? Vergil could've had a woman at 16. Maybe his adopted sister.

Remember Gohan from DBZ? Do you know how old he was fighting Raditz?
