Why it is better that Ninja Theory is making DmC and not Capcom.

Because Capcom seems to screw over their fans over and over again with numerous games as proof of this. Ninja Theory have two mediocre games behind them, but neither of them are made to trick money out of people. They were made out of love for gaming and storytelling. So yeah, Ninja Theory seems to have some official faces that aren't very sympathetic with the crowd, but they put their hearts and souls into their work. To me, that is what matters the most.

I used to have faith in Capcom. They used to be my favourite game company and I have had alot of good experiences with their games. But now it feels like they have betrayed that faith, having time and time again shown that they simply do not care enough about their fans to make quality games.
I was really excited about Street Fighter X Tekken, but the fact that 1/3 of the content is hidden on the very disc which will at a later date become DLC for a price made me hesitate to buy it. For the same price as the game, people will be able to get this game WITH the hidden content on the PS Vita! That's shameful!
I have since bought the Devil May Cry HD collection which left me heavily disappointed. It just seems like a really rushed job and my favourite of the three original games, Devil May Cry 3 still looks pixelated and the cutscenes do not fit with the sound amongst other things.

Ninja Theory, this is for you: Take all the time you need to perfect the new Devil May Cry and give us a game of quality, something you can be proud of and which we can enjoy as fans.

Capcom, this is for you: Go f*ck yourselves!

you have some good points. i am also kinda glad that ninja theory is making the game instead of capcom considering some of their recent actions. one thing i am really terrified about, is that capcom will fill this game with dlc that should've been included with the game in the first place *cough asura's wrath "true" ending dlc cough*. or they will lock content on the disk *cough street fighter x tekken cough* man i think i have a cold or something. so i hope that capcom does not pull any greedy stunts with this game, i mean come on capcom the game has got enough negative backlash as it is please don't do anything stupid.
 
Better idea: Have Rockstar games make it, look at their freaking company goals
They are GODS when it comes to video games

I dont think rockstar would ever do dmc as i see them just making a new ip rather than figure out an old one.
 
I swear Capcom have gone to another company because if this new game does really badly, they won't get the backlash, it'll be Ninja Theory. (Which has already been proven with the flack NT has been getting for the new Dante.)

If it goes well, I will give ALL credit to Ninja Theory, because Capcom surely doesn't deserve it.

Capcom is just really screwing with us.I mean why they did choose pipeworks instead of bluepoint games which made the ICO and shadow of colossus HD,God of war HD and metal gear rising collection.All these HD remakes are really HD compare to pipeworks DMC HD.Capcom really wants to screw their fans.

I think your in the wrong thread lad.
How does Capcom screw over fans? They've made so many Mega Man games I don't see how they screwed us over?
 
Oh look at capcom right now?They are getting so much hate and i really couldn't care less about megaman because i only played 2 games of the franchise and it's x6 and x7.My point is why gave DMC into a mediocre company?Why hire pipeworks by giving a half-assed HD? Pipeworks isn't really that much popular neither the games they are making.

What about the new Resident Evil games by Capcom? Aren't they any good? My point being other than a odd choice for the DMC series, Capcom isn't all that bad.

That's in the past. If you look at Capcom's recent activity, you would see our point.

- Megaman Legends 3 cancelled. Not amusing Megaman fans.
- Megaman Online only being available in Asia. (Those b@stards!)
- Marvel VS Capcom getting an Ultimate edition with more content, but has to be bought as a seperate game, cheating those who bought the original game. (At least Super Street Fighter 4 had ALOT more content and changes from the original SF4 which excuses them for making it, imo, though many people raged about that too. Oh, and the Arcade Edition became DLC instead of yet another new game)
- Megaman shown as a big fat tub of lard in SFxT. Angering Megaman fans.
- 1/3 of the character roster locked into the disc. (will be DLC for people to buy at a later date)

And a few things relevant to this forum:

- Devil May Cry 4 not being about Dante, but about Nero with sloppy gameplay and not explaining Nero's origins properly.
- Capcom chooses not to make a DMC5 to explain Nero's past or connection to Dante/Vergil/Sparda.
- DmC: Devil May Cry being a reboot and Dante got a makeover. Raging DMC fans!
- Devil May Cry HD collection not working properly for several PS3 users. Sloppy HD work amongst other things.

There are probably more to add to that list, but I can't think of more at the moment.

^ Your argument actually changed my opinion on Capcom. Thou I'm still unsure about this because NT isn't the true sourse of DMC Capcom is. But its never to late to became a DmC NT fan.

I still like Capcom for what good they used to make, such as the original Devil May Cry games and the Megaman games. It is their current attitude I am so disappointed at. And there is no reason you can't be a fan of both.
