Why I think *Spoiler warning* in Logan works

So I'm sitting down, rewatching Logan, and I just got to X-24, Wolverine's younger clone. For one thing, I have to give it to Patrick Stewart, his performance during this scene was so engaging, I never even took the time to consider if that was really Wolverine he was talking to.
But, anyway. I wanna discuss why I think X-24 was a fitting final antagonist for Wolverine. Well for one, there's the whole symbolic of one's inner demon mindset. Which has been used several times (Though one can argue Sabretooth already was this for Wolverine, which brings me to the closest thing I have to a grip with this movie. Sabretooth is Wolverine's archenemy, and, in the films, his brother. We couldn't get Liev to make a cameo?)
But I also look at it as symbolic of mortality. Wolverine is past his prime, he's healing factor, strength, and speed aren't quite what they use to be, he's sick, he's slowly dying. While X-24 physically is Wolverine in his prime. So when they fight, it's Wolverine quite literally fighting with his current condition.
Another, and this goes back to X-24 being Wolverine's inner demon. It's quite fitting, that it's Laura, his daughter, that kills it. Symbolic how love of friends and family can help us vanquish our inner demons.

Just a quick summery of my thoughts.
