Why doesn't DmC's story make any sense? [Spoilers within]

Maybe Mundus gets a kick out of doing it the sly way?
If he just came out and declared he was a demon and took humans by force, I'm betting he'd be pretty bored.
Then again, I'm not sure why he isn't bored anyway. He has humans under his control and they have no idea. He owns everything. It's like he has so much money and power and a sytem in place that he doesn't have to do anything.
It's like playing the sims gamte forever with all the cheats unlocked. :P Maybe that's what Mundus thinks life is. Life is a Sims game for him.
To quote Dante from his faceoff with Ghost Rider in Marvel Capcom 3, "Life is the ultimate video game. You just don't get the endless continues."

Thanks, also did his father rebel aganist Mundus like in the orginal games, or did he just marry Eva

It;s not really that kind of rebellion like what happened in the original games. I guess sparda rebelled in this game by falling in love and running away together with an angel.

I saw the topic and thought it was a joke.
Then i saw your name.
You are the joke itself.
Have you even read the thread? He actually make great points.
Don't be so butthurt just because somebody posted plot-holes on your favorite game :/

I think it would have been cool in this game if both sides would have been ****ed off by that act. And Dante would of had to deal with both Demon and Angel enemies.

Far as we know, Mundus got butthurt when Sparda fell in love with Eva and that was what set everything off, we don't know how much towards probably siding with humans Sparda got at that poin, even if at all.

Goes to show...demons take the Bro Code seriously.

Mundus:I thought we agreed bros over hoes
Sparda: Angels don't count:troll:

For me, I'd say Sparda was only concerned with his love for Eva and the safety of the twins. Just because he fell in love doesn't mean that he suddenly wanted to help humans; especially after he helped Mundus do what he did.

Wellc, Classic Sparda helped Mundus, until something "woke him to justice". Likely he fell in love with a human woman. But yeah, as it was, new!Sparda didn't get that chance. I get the feeling New!Mundus got a look at the other world and said "Oh HEEEELLLL no!"
Sparda: "But, bro...REDHEADS! The book of Stintsen specifically says Redheads are all good!"
Mundus: "...DAMN YOU BOOK OF STINTSEN!"

They also never get into much deep about Sparda. When the demons attacked the mansion, we know that only EVA was killed during that time and Sparda and his sons was able to get away. He then proceeds to block their memories then after that we don't have much details.

The only thing we know is that Sparda was imprisoned. How? Is it because he surrenders himself to Mundus and make him promise that he won't hurt his child in exchange of imprisoning him?

he likes to keep his "pets" docile, since demons use human souls what's better than stealing from them without them even knowing and in the original series demons were able to be dealt with by normal human weapons fairly easily

Humans= like sheeple:P I'm surprised he isn't cattle branding humans. Actually, do you think he farms humans and makes a business from it. Like humans raise cows for consumption by other humans, does Mundus raise humans and sell their souls to be eaten by demons?

Kinda like this.
