He was angsty, my favorite scene is when him and Kat exchange origin stories.while Kat's is simple and actually made me feel a bit for her Dante's is all edgy and about how he needed to dig into his heart and stuff. It Wasn't too bad on its own even if it was already sounding a bit too much like a falling in reverse song but what made it unbearable in my opinion was that they felt it appropriate to put heavy rock in what was supposed to be an emotionally fueled scene explaining Dantes tragic inner conflicts produced by the demons around him. The way I see it that's the most angsty Dante gets in that game, it doesn't get worse and even that is just one scene it doesn't ruin the whole game or character for me.
