...If we fight Jack Black to the tune of "Tribute", I will laugh so hard and call this the greatest game ever made, for that battle alone. XD

DMC Dante is the final boss.. We all know who's gonna win this fight.
hopefully Dante from dmc4 moves faster in DmC as a boss cause if he is anything like he was under the player's control in DMC4, he will have a hard time just moving across the room in a timely fashion.

But we all know that Vergil's rainbow and lollipops unicorn form will be the final boss. There will be sprinkles and cupcakes and maybe butterflies.

I'm gonna say the moldy cheese in the corner, because I really don't think either Dante would actually fight the other. People might want some sort of rivalry, but...given the classic's personality, I can't see him getting all up in arms about "being replaced" as so many people think. Hell, they have that whole thing of Dante crying at a bar after seeing the DmC trailer, but I'd imagine he'd just be like "Alright! Extended vacation!"

I was kidding about DMC Dante's final boss haha. But lol, some people took that leaked ending seriously.

DMC Dante now is probably playing the DmC demo and i'm pretty sure he enjoyed it, You see guys? Even Old Dante liked DmC!!! :P

Considering that Reubon Langdon has indeed given his slash of approval on DmC after playing the Demo...the image of Classic! Dante playing the new game and approving of Cambilim!Dante is...amusingly true

That's CamBION, a cambilim would be a theoretical demon/Angel hybdrid; cambion = human/Demon, Nephilim=human/Angel. So Classic!Dante is a Cambion, while New!Dante is a Cambilim.

Back on topic, in seriousness, I expected either Vergil or Mundus as the final battle, since DmC seems to be taking a lot of cues from both DMC1 and 3 and combining them into one game...which could cram a lot of story into a very narrow space. It'll be interesting to see how well this works, or it it ends up, like X-Men 3 and Spiderman 3, being too plot for one chapter of the story.

Oh, so we're just making up words now. It's sorta difficult to just take halves of a word and put them together, because...well...you may have taken the halves that mean absolutely nothing >.< Especially since the "im" you took from the end of Nephilim is just part of the worded meaning "one of." :x

For something that has no context in lore or mythology, you kind'a have to make up a word. how do you think the europeons created the word "cambion" in the first placed for demonic-half humans?

And being that the word "nephilim" in fact means "those who cause a Fall"...

Well yeah, but you can't put together the parts of the words that make no sense Cambion is a wholly made up word, but Cambilim is essentially "the camb ones" or "the ones of camb" or at most "the cambion ones," because of the use of the "im" from Nephilim.

Take a look at the "related terms" section of Nephilim that you linked, and you'll see a pattern to the those hebrew names

Emim - the feaful ones (Ema being hebrew for fear or terror)
Rephaim - the dead ones (referring to the Rephiates, a dead ancenstry)
Anakim - the long-necked ones (descendants of Anak)

At this point, we might as well just call DmC Dante and Vergil by their actual in-game race instead of trying to make one up that will completely conflict with what everyone else hears in the game :/

Except they're not nephilim because they're not human in any regard, which will cause even worse confusion than trying to find a proper term. Ergo, NT screw up with the mythos on that point by using a real term and totally misusing it.
