Maybe... I haven't seen levels 80-thru-100 yet, so I'm not in a position to really know anything about that.

How large was the lack of my social life for me to complete both Dante and Lucia on DMD and bp? I didn't do the secret rooms not only because I couldn't find them, but also because I didn't need them either. So in the end, I didn't even bother.

i find DMC 2's bloody palace to be the hardest out of all the games
simply because the goal in the HD collection is to get to level 9000
and i don't think anyone can actually do that without using items

some of the levels are ridiculously hard having to fight 10 wolves in one floor is unfair

The most difficult thing to deal with in DMC 2 is the goddamn stupid camera.
