Now, before we begin, I'm just making it clear that my "moral alignment" is "Chaotic Evil".

http://easydamus.com/alignmenttest.html

"A chaotic evil doesn't necessarily go after individuals just because they stand in the way of their success, they will harm or destroy people for the sheer pleasure of it."

"People are play-things to the chaotic evil, to be used and manipulated for their own personal pleasure."

T2_sticker-trollface.jpg

"The chaotic evil creature holds that individual freedom and choice is important, and that other individuals and their freedoms are unimportant if they cannot be held by the individuals through their own strength and merit.

Thus, law and order rends to promote not individuals but groups, and groups suppress individual volition and success.

Individual freedom and choice is important, and the freedom of other individuals are unimportant if they cannot be held by their own strength and merit."

Side Note: Seriously though, this sounds like they're trying to make Libertarianism (very small government) and Anarchism (zero government) look bad by lumping us in with sociopaths and the outright psychotic.

Don't hate us 'cause we're independent, hate the system that holds you down, people.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, I'm just going with the setup that has almost nothing to do with "morality" itself. This is more of a "superficial" deal.

I'll go first to show you what it is exactly that I'm asking for.

Also, thanks to migs for the "inspiration" for this thread.

Dark Souls

Starting Class of Choice : Wanderer

http://darksouls.wikia.com/wiki/Wanderer

"The Wanderer is one of the Classes in Dark Souls. Wanderers have low defense, but to compensate, have high dexterity. Their vitality is low, and combined with their light starting gear, makes Wanderers not very durable in the early game. Wanderers want to close the distance quickly and use fast combos to take out enemies before they can attack. Wanderers also have the option to fight at range with a bow, or with spells, thanks to their fairly high attunement and intelligence stats.

At 84 stat points (if their levels were reduced to 1), Wanderers are tied with Pyromancers for the highest starting statistics, making the class a good candidate for a PvP build."

Armor of Choice: Shadow Set

Black cloth clothing worn by spooks from an Eastern land.
Designed so as not to hinder their unique form of martial arts.
While they sacrifice defense for the sake of greater mobility,
they do offer resistance to bleeding and poison among other things, perhaps due to the nature of espionage.

Default Armor: Wanderer Set

"Mer: Dunmer: The dark-skinned, red-eyed natives of Morrowind, often called Dark Elves, are diverse and talented in their skills, ranging from adept mages, to accurate archers, even dabbling in swordcraft. Dunmer make good spellswords and Nightblades for this reason."

http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Dunmer_(Morrowind)

"Dunmer are natives of Morrowind. Many of them belong to one of the seven Great Houses. Adept with blades and magic, Dunmer are versatile creatures."

Armor of Choice: Dark Brotherhood Set

This is probably one of the only reasons why I play this game. Just look at that eyepiece. It's like a steampunk monocle.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning

Race: Dokkalfar

100px-Dokkalfar_male.png

"The dark elves are the ultimate manipulators, controlling the actions of others from the shadows."

http://amalur.wikia.com/wiki/Dokkalfar

Class: Blademaster, Warlord, and Nightblade

Blademaster.png

"Having become one with your weapons, you are capable of killing most enemies within seconds. Those who survive longer only serve to fuel your relentless onslaught. Either way, against you, their reckoning is at hand."

http://www.gamerjutsu.com/kingdoms-of-amalur-reckoning-finnese-might-destinies/

warlord.png

"There have been few Warlords in the history of Amalur, and they were all respected and feared as the primal embodiments of conflict itself. This Destiny allows you to endure any and all attacks while laying waste to those who would dare to oppose you."

Nightblade.png

"At this level of proficiency, the Nightblade’s deadly arts become confused in the popular mind with sorcery. With this Destiny, you assassinate enemies unheard, unseen. Fierce foes fall dead silently, without a mark. Impossibly fast, deadly and untouchable, your craft assumes the seamless mystery of a black art."

I usually go for classes that don't rely on magic. It's not that I don't like magic, it's just that I really don't have an interest in it and prefer long blades, short blades, speedy combat, stealth, and arrows.

-------------------------------------------

Edit:
I'm not into teams because i wanna do things for myself & not rely on others to do it for me.

Sounds like you're on the road to Chaotic Evil already -- or at the very least, Chaotic Good.

Usually, I play melee-based classes, so bows, throwing weapons, swords, axes, etc. Now, I'm trying to play more magic-based classes since most games don't make magic interesting or whatever is considered magic in certain games, like Mass Effect's "biotics" aka "space magic" aka "we couldn't think of something logical to replace magic" aka "more rambling". In most cases, magic is this spell that comes out of your hands or body. I want magic to behave like bending from Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. That's much more exciting than standing there and casting random-ass spells. Bending is dynamic and can be used at all ranges. Well, Dragon Age II sort of did that and some games have spell-swords or magic-warriors that seamlessly use magic and melee at the same time. I guess fighting games would count to. I mean, come on, who doesn't think Rosalina, Zelda, and Peach make magic look awesome? Shut up, Daisy fans. Nobody cares about her, even Luigi had the hots for Rosie in Super Mario Galaxy 1 and where was Daisy there? NOWHERE.

Soul Sacrifice does magic in a interesting way by having it be the warrior and ranger classes since magic is what forms the weapons and attacks. MMOs have also been making magic look fancier, so I guess that counts too. Also, MOBAs like Smite, League of Legends, and DOTA, and Orcs Must Die synchronize magic and melee very well.

Unfortunately, most games have this weird "desync" with magic like The Witcher, Ninja Gaiden, Demon's & Dark Souls, and Dragon's Dogma. That or magic is just bland like in The Elder Scrolls series where in certain games, magic is relatively useless unless you mod the damn games. Really, Bethesda? Really? You could at least make combat sound good through disgustingly satisfying crunches, but even that wasn't in Skyrim. Yes, we all know TES has a huge modding community, but still, that doesn't mean they're free labor.

I'm a fan of the rouge. They commonly have the quick and agile set up and I also love duel wielding which i think the rouge set up in most games compliments more than the warrior.

I usually played the sneaking type. Thief/Assassin/Rogue/Strider or anything that kind of ilk. Warrior is my second choice because it's usually the less complicated class and it can already tank and deal some huge damage at early levels. I rarely play a mage on any RPG but i plan to on my 5th walkthrough in Skyrim.

Dark Souls II:

Starting Class: Swordsman

http://darksouls2.wiki.fextralife.com/Starting Classes#Swordsman

img7-1.png

Finely skilled swordsman.
Fights gracefully with strong weapons
in both hands.

It seems like they fused the Pyromancer and Sorcerer classes into one basic magic class.

The Thief and Hunter classes seems to have also been fused into the "Explorer" class, as well.

In my opinion, this is probably the best change made when it comes to the Dark Souls series. Take two beloved classes, and fuse them together into an even more difficult, yet still very useful, hardcore class.

http://darksouls2.wiki.fextralife.com/Starting Classes#Explorer

Well-traveled explorer.
Not terribly powerful,
but has many items.

I like both of these classes, but if I had to choose one, I'd definitely go with the Swordsman/Wanderer every time.
