What DmC weapon and stance has caught your interest, and will you be using it the most?

I prefer the classic guns and a sword combo so I'm going with Ebony & Ivory and Rebellion. But my favorite stance is the demon form. May not be as fast, but packs a powerful punch.

So what's yours?

Definately the two Angel weapons. I have a certain love for everything demonic, but the demonic weapons in DmC look boring compared to the angelic ones. A scythe is usually considered demonic in games and it is one of my all-time favourite weapons, so the Osiris is a natural first choice for me, even if it is angelic in this game. I also like how Dante uses it, swinging it fast and fluidly. The chakrams also look really awesome. ^^

When i kill demons in all the Devil May Cry games i always use the sword, Sure you can use other weapons, But it's the classic Dante way to kill! So i'll go with human in DmC.

Funny thing about "glaives" is that an actual glaive looks nothing like a throwing weapon - they're a halberd-like polearm. The usage of "glaive" nowadays has made them into some sort of large throwing weapon, which is quite silly, actually.

I love all the weapons, but there is loads of things I miss in the series. Like my laser-gun and rifles.
But I still have hope since Vergil utilises a rifle of some sort.

A chakram was another type of throwing weapon. It's basically just a metal circle with a sharp edge. It was big in ancient Middle-Eastern areas, especially India. Xena the Warrior Princess also used one :p

The Aquila is being referenced as a chakram, but it's mostly just giant, three-pointed throwing stars.

Stupid question
What is a "charkam" and when was it revealed?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chackram
Note: "chackram" is not really an accurate term for Aquila (the 2nd angel weapon, revealed in the leaked achievements, confirmed later). It would be more accurate to call them large shuriken ( the term "glave has also been used for similar fictional weapons however real life glaves are a type of polearm)

Oh so this chakram is actually the Aquila weapon, thank you.
BTW India is not in the middle east, it's in south asia near places like Thailand and Sri Lanka

That's odd...the chakram is pretty big in the Sikh religion. It's one of the weapons in the Khanda symbol it's comprised of three swords and the chakram. Khanda represents, truth (left sword), a willingness to fight for what's right (right sword), and unerring strength (the middle sword and chakram).

Odd that it's not mentioned in the Chakram wiki article :x

Yeah, the most useful are definitely Rebellion with E&I,

but dat scythe and chackram, man.
