Whats a public group here?

Never had any in use on any forums ive been to but to my knowledge they are groups that a forum member can request to join and special Forums can be set up for them by the Admins for members that wish to discuss specific things they dont want others to have access to as it is restricted to invited members only.

That gives me ideas.Can we start groups?And I be leader of one since I brought this up lol??

Have no reason to have any at this moment in time, and ive never seen them used really. If there was a case where we needed them then maybe i imagine.
