What would have been better references to the original series?

...twin Drekevaks...one red, one blue, with appropriate elemental focus...but no f**king color coding on weapons, and call them Agni and Rudra would have been an EPIC work in and another sweet boss fight to add into the game. And Beowolf as the Hunter would have been a nice touch too, instead of just "the Hunter Demon".

Well I wonder if anyone noticed in The "devils dalliance" level when your fighting midway through the level Dante is actually going Woo Hoo and sounding more like DMC 3 dante when he is fighting things like rage spawns and so forth.

maybe they should be more muscular and bigger than the other dream runners. The hunter does actually have a sword scar on his face which gels with what we know of Beowulf. maybe Phantom could have been Bardas's true demon form instead of a giant floating internet head like MCP or he could have both. Or Phantom could have been a female and Bardas's wife and she is a boos who Dante faces before bardas.

I did; it caught me offguard and I barely heard it the first few times due to the volume of the music on the level.

The first time you kill those tiny little monsters that look like spiders dante could have said something like ''i hate spiders'' (in honor to phantom).

The final game cut plenty of dialogue that made winks to the past series. It'd have been a nice touch to leave them there, if you ask me, but I guess NT wanted to play it safe and not risking ****ing off anyone else.

Kat: Aren't you going to ask me something meaningful? About the order?
