Sparda was a mixture of Dante and Vergil. This is also as a simple equation of colors -> purple = red + blue.

Since red is a dominant color, so was that part of his father's personality which Dante inherited. While Vergil, inherited the regressive part of Sparda.

What do you think Sparda's personality was like?

I think he was quiet and polite.

Let's have your thoughts people ^^

they should make a game that revoles around sparda... but capcom wont make it... but they want to keep it a secret... it would be intresting if they did though

OMG PEOPLES XD !!! it doesnt matter what we "think" because at any moment capcom can decide that sparda was never really a demon but rather a beaver and demons just happen to be afraid of them, and beaver sparda did in fact rape eva!!! And everything we thought we knew was wrong!!! I've already brought this up but in METAL GEAR 1&2 every says that big boss is evil. And everyone "KNEW" this is different from thinking, Everybody "KNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEW" that Big boss was in "FACT" an evil character then in the MGS4 you find it was never really him that was the evil one but major zero. which was weird because everyone "KNEW" they "KNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEW"that major zero was a good guy. Im not siding with esura but i know where hes coming from, as far as i can tell Esura is thinking just as logically as any of you. and for all you know rape and cheating is DMC's style. its completely up to capcom what direction the game is going to take, so you guys really shouldn't be crucifying anyone just because they think differently, Esura never said any of you guys were wrong!!! (even though he probably is) so theres no reason to shoot down his ideas :(

I was just trying to make the point that anything can happen when its not the fans choice but capcoms choice on what will happen in the dmc realm, even if its something as absurd as sparda being a beaver :P

the legandary dark knight.

i think his personality is like both his sons.

I'm gonna stick by my theory that sparda was a beaver...

Can this be closed? You guys need to stop going off topic, seriously.

What? This has been off topic for about a page and a half?

Pointing out right or wrong is irrelevant. This is about your own opinion.

Making a joke is funny, but the beaver thing was milked for like half a page.

But since not everyone has made their point on the matter, then it has some life.

No closures just yet - Beavers...lol....

But let's get back to the matter at hand, shall we? ;)

im not going off topic dude :\ im defending esuras right to post what ever he thinks about sparda (no matter how obviously wrong he is) ok im straying a weee bit with the beaver thing but for the most part my posts have had a point to them.

Bad guy came:P

@ LoD, these days you're requesting that topics be closed - and usually do that when the conversation doesn't go your way but let's leave that subject away for now shall we? My point is this:

Originally posted by the RULES:

As you can see here. So I suppose you won't ask for any closures from now on eh?

@Trish67, laughing is nice but, posting short phrases like "that's funny" which do not contribute anything to the conversation might as well be considered spam. I'm not saying you're the only you're doing it so don't take this personally, I just thought I'd mention it here since I started with LoD.

As usual I don't want to hear any sorry/reply to this thread, I just came to say those stuff. Carry on people.

To be on topic now, although throughout the games we get the idea that Sparda was an epic almighty guy who was second to no one, I'm guessing that if we learnt his story we'd see that he was as "normal" (by normal I mean that he had times were he was troubled/sad/happy/angry/etc) as anyone which would break that "Epic Shadow" that seems to be around his name as things have now.
