Since Nephillim doesn't actually mean half Angel half demon, what does?

cambaphilo, nephiliam, weird, awesome, hybrid, now with 1000000 percent more flavour.

take your pick

I'm not sure I follow, you mean since Nep's are originally interpreted as Human-Angel Hybrids?

I'd still consider him a Nep' since that is DmC's interpretation of it.

DmC isn't the first to change the mythos of Nep's; Diablo and Darksiders both depict Nep's as Angel-Demon Hybrids. It's a mythological creature, so media/cultures can change them to suite whatever they need.

Another way to put it is this:

In the mythos of DmC it's Nephelim, but in actuality it'd be more around those lines, yes. I asked Mo this a long while back and he pretty much told me that same thing.
