what do you call them?

Don't Let the Fall of America be Your Fall
This is a small favor I wanna ask but;

1: What kind of coat does Dante have in DmC?

2: What would you call Dante's hairstyle?

3: In what category is Rebellion?

Just small questions I wanted to ask.

1 - Trench coats, usually, although this one also has the length of a frock coat (going to around the knees), but frock coats are more fancy :p

2 - Dante's hairstyle is a mohawk, specifically it's in line with the "psychobilly" type, which was a style similar to a crew cut with the shaved sides, but with longer hair at the top. Different from a crew cut, the psychobilly still has longer hair running down to the back of the head.

3 - Rebellion is a claymore.

His hair is a faux mohawk. A mohawk requires that you shave you sides completely.

I thought a fauxhawk was when there was still marginally longer hair than usual, like someone just styling their normal length hair into a mohawk. The sides of Dante's head are still buzzed, like you'd get from a crew cut :x

Not all of them

I don't really know what is needed to be a parka but its usually a hooded coat thats a little longer than normal but not as long as a trench

edit: Plus Tameem has said it in an interview somewhere, when he was comparing how classic and neo Dante dressed:P

Parka's are supposed to be heavy, the entire purpose of a parka is to protect against the elements, particularly cold and wind. If it isn't heavy, and doesn't do good at protecting against the elements, it's not a parka :x

Dante's coat is made of leather, so I'd imagine it's just a leather trenchcoat, like it's always been.

Nothing really stays the same forever, man. Sure they were made for the weather but times change and so do the purpose of clothes. I just googled Parka and Bam, there it was. Did i mention Tameem has said it already? :P

Then those are really ****ty parkas, haha >_<

The whole point of a parka is to protect against elements, if it doesn't do that, then well...it sucks at its one purpose. Things may not stay the same, but when something has a pretty precise definition, it's hard to change. And I'd have to say Tameem is wrong on that, too :x

It can't be a parka, because Dante's coat just is not what a parka is. Especially being made of leather, which is one of the crappiest materials to make something to protect against the elements.

I'm more interested in what the hell you call what Vergil wears.

Vergil's...his seems like a Victorian-era frock coat, but...with that really weird lopsided tail.

I dont think Dante needs it for the weather anyways =X

@AngelMode, I have no clue. He's rich so....

Hmm...I honestly have no idea on Dante's coat. o_o *thought it was a trench coat**thought parkas had fur on them* New Rebellion looks like a long sword to me; it'll probably say in the game, though.

*coughcough* Victorian nerd coming through! Well, obviously it's a doublebreasted coat, but, judging by the cut of the...bottom area, I'd say it was a highly modified cross between a tail coat and a great coat. (The lapels remind me of a Victorian woman's great coat. >_>) Unless you mean a Regency/Napoleonic frock coat, TWOxACROSS. Then I'm very inclined to agree with you. It's a little long for it, though.... And, since I'm sure I just embarassed myself, I'm gonna go hide. *hides*

Modern era suit pants? o_o They look like slacks. XD Sorry, but myknowledge is limited with modern clothes. This is gonna sound really...weird...but the only way I'd be able to tell for sure is by the fly.... (It's very different in older style clothes than modern ones.)
