On mission 17, cut scene: Another one...What was Dante talking about when he said, "I know why you're here, you're here to ask me some questions...well too bad, i've already answered them myself. I don't need you anymore."

What did he mean by that? What the hell was he talking about. Does anyone know?

I think he was referring to the fact that he encountered his own shadow. Like a part of himself. In movies these things appear and help the character rethink some things, about what is right or wrong. And help them remember certain things about themselves that they forgot for various reasons.

Dante plays like he played with Beowulf "a son cleaning up his dad mess? where did I hear the story before?" and practically says to Doppelganger that - okay I know I should care about what Vergil is trying to do, and have already figured what's right or wrong.

Which is what he did, and "changed" from a guy who "doesn't have a care in the world" into someone more "serious and dependable" thanks to Lady's mocks.;)

Thanks Tony, but how did Dante know what his demon form looked like? XD Thats kinda weird since he just awakened that night.

Well, when he appeared, he was just his shadow(in human form). Then suddenly he changed and some aura was emitting all around him. And he had Rebellion in his back;)
