What Combat Mechanic in DmC You Wish Stay in DmC2

No one mentioned Eryx's shuffling. Apparently, from what the wiki states and from preview gameplay videos, you can shuffle (slowly move) while charging Eryx. I don't see a lot of people doing it from the gameplay I've watched of the final game. Also, I don't know if you can shuffle with all the moves. What would be cool is if it returns, but you get an instant charge when you "perfect shuffle", basically dodge/lean away from an attack and if you time it right you can do a Just attack or if you don't you get a quick charged attack. It could act like Nero's Table Hopper from DMC4. Although it shouldn't give multiple charges from each evade, but resets the time for the Just attack.

For those who like Demon Dodge and for those who think it's overpowered, Demon Block could replace the Demon Dodge we have now in DmC. But Demon Dodge still exists for a weapon like Eryx (or any gauntlets and greaves weapon Dante uses). Maybe we can get an Achievo/Trophy called "Everyday I'm Shufflin'" or "They See Me Shufflin', They Hatin'" for consecutive shuffles.

Was that foward x2 + attack using the Eryx?

I think it's called Straight. In DmC, I think, Dante dashes with a straight or cross depending on what school of boxing you're in; it's the back hand that punches. But I think if you charge/hold the button down, Dante feints - dashes back - and charges Eryx before dashing forward and punching.

In DMC4, that whole thing was made of two techniques, Draw and Straight. Draw is the feint or dash back, which you could use repeatedly. Straight is the actual punch which could be charged as well in DMC4.

Edit: If you're talking about what I was talking about shuffling and adding onto what shuffling could do, then no. Straight and moving while charging (shuffling) are two different things.

Oh yea, and while the weapons may change, they need to keep aspects like Osiris's "Feed". It's fun swathing through a group of enemies, seeing that thing light up, and really beginning to deal out dat spread damage.

That was pretty money when the Osiris charge-up. I like that to return too. Also I wish "Prop" return too, but it would seem force.

Holy crap I just try it. I gonna try and use this against the Butcher. Thanks man.

Nevermind, it's called Snake Eye in DmC. Still works the same as Draw and Straight from DMC4. Not the same as DMC3's Straight which didn't have Draw . . . I think?

I'm experiment it right now. I can actually cancel it when it is in "Draw". Probably useful for pro players since it has less animation than "Dodge".

Edit: "Straight" can be cancel using jump .

Everything can stay exept from one thing. those goddamn color coded enemies. God. The reason why the game is so hard is because they force you to use a damn demon weapon. Think about it. Two rages aren't hard all but when your forced to use a slow hammer to try to kill one of them that messes you up and the angel weapons are so weak. Anyway what i really want them to add in a demon jump. I dont know man something that makes you jump high. Go straight [Prototype] on people. Now that i think about it they need a duel weapon.

Either way I'd like the Angel Dodge to remain. With an added enhancement of continuous phasing if you keep tapping the dodge button and gradual acceleration giving it the ability to cover larger distances in each step making it appear as a form of flash stepping, or teleportation.
The fall off cliff mechanics need to be tweaked too, a badly controlled ground combo that would normally force you over the ledge (Roulette, Stinger) should do so.

People are already complaining about the difficulty of this game being too easy and you want to make it easier?
Something similar to your demon jump already exists, it's called the Leap and it's an ability you have to buy.
To use it you have to Angel or Demon pull an enemy and when you make contact you jump again using the enemy under your feet as a platform.
You can do this repeatedly while airborne as well and Leap to incredible heights.
As for your Demon and Angel weps, upgrade them. If they're fully upgraded already then I'm sorry, you just plain suck at this game.

Twosome time, without gun canceling...um...more combos for rebellion, and maybe a few more for the other 4 weapons...umm...royal guard instead of demon evade, annndddd...ummmm...besides that? More grapple mechanics, make the option more useful, with a weapon functionality. Besides that, this game is the shizznit. Best since dmc3, my opinion. More unlockable skins would be nice, not just dlc ones and the in game ones they have now. And of course, I think the fan service should be answered...for fighting dream runners...dual wield rebellion...and alastor ;)

I one of the few that actually like the color coded enemy, but i see what they talking. If they ever bring back color coded enemy, i wish they tweak it a bit more.

Im aware of the leap ability i upgraded everything. What i meant by demon jump is like something you can charge then release and you jump pretty high. Now on the color coded enemies. I hate comparing the old games to the new one but it seems i have to. I dont remember in DMC3 where i had to use a specific weapon to kill a demon. Now sometimes it may be convenient to use a certain weapon to kill a certain demon but still, i was not forced. What im saying is if DMC3 can be hard without color coded enemies, why cant DmC do the same?

I wouldn't mind having color coded enemies if there was an angel weapon and demon weapon similar to the rebellion. I cant stand having to use slow weapons to take down one rage while another rage requires a fast but weak weapon. I see the sense of difficulty it brings but i just found my self trying to knock the enemies that were color coded off of the map.
