Halfway through dmd mode. Not a god at this game by any means...
I feel like the axe and scythe are superior to fists' and spins'
Scythe builds power has plenty of sweep. Fists have retarded synergy and hits like an angel weapon when not charged. Is there any situation outside of witch you'd use either of um?

I use the fists if I want to be quick about staggering some of those shield carrying demons of there are a lot of them, and that's about it.
Aquila, I use that for spamming roundtrip on the ghost rage on DMD mode while I took care of the bloodrage. It's also good for some quick crowd control.

I use mostly Rebellion, Eryx, and Arbiter.

I tend to only use Aquila and Osiris against the Stygians, and when I do it's simply to have more variety in my attacks. Otherwise I stick to a more effective playstyle.

I use Eryx when I'm surrounded with red enemies to whittle them down, stick and move, or to deal with the big enemies that can be uppercutted. Aquila and Osiris I use mainly for crowd control and gathering of regular Stygians (also Aquila for stunlocking other enemies while I deal with someone else.) Artiber when I have an opening for max damage, Rebellion for all around purpose.

Basically a mixture of all those strategies.

I tend to use everything in different combinations. I've gotten very used to switching angel weapons constantly, although I don't tend to switch demon weapons mid-combo as much as angel. I think I only ever combine Eryx and Arbiter for a quicker, heavy Trinity Smash.

Once or twice I followed Arbiter up with a Buy In, but it really doesn't lend itself to anything but the finishing move when it comes to remixing combos. Every weapon has some pretty sweet features that apply in a variety of situations. I honestly have to force myself to use Arbiter sometimes, since the Eryx are just so flexible in comparison.

I just wish the weapons were fully fleshed out. I personally use rebellion A LOT. It quickly strings. It can stinger to close gaps. Launch easily. Juggle. The other weps don't feel polished. AQ and eryx should been a better group/single aerial weps and the other set for the ground.

FYI idk the versatility of Eryx you speak of. The priority system is pretty legit. Axe has a way higher priority when wep collision
Over fists which makes it superior. Even though fists swing faster axe parries and I parry.

Aq can't parry at all which makes scythe a way better angel (defense) wep
