Game Podunk has just received word that Warner Bros. Games announced a new street date for Batman: Arkham City. The new official release date for this highly anticipated sequel is October 18, 2011. That's 15 more days we'll have to wait, but it's good to know the game has been pushed back only weeks instead of months, or God forbid, moved to next year.
If you've already preordered online, be sure to note the change of date to avoid last minute disappointments. Arkham City will be available for the Xbox 360 and PS3 console as well as PC. Expect national retailers to be updating the new release date information shortly.
