Volume/Sound VERY LOW on PC Version

So I just downloaded this game and it’s the first that I’ve played within the franchise. Has anyone dealt with this low volume/sound issue with the PC version. It’s a bit difficult to enjoy the game when you ca barely hear it, even with the speakers or headset volume turned up.
The volume is fixated and won’t turn up or down.
It’s clearly a bug and I was wondering if there were some type of work around.
