On August 20, 2024, my mother, Atsuko Tanaka, a voice actress, passed away.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all the fans who loved Atsuko Tanaka and to all the people in the industry who took care of her during her lifetime, on my behalf, thank you.
It is with great regret that we have to inform you of the news in this way.
Although the specific name of the disease will be withheld at the request of Atsuko Tanaka, it seems to me that Atsuko Tanaka lived a life that was true to her character: serious, dignified, and a little mischievous, including her year-long battle with the disease.
I am very happy to have such a proud mother.
Last but not least, please do not forget the works that Atsuko Tanaka has been involved in with sincerity, the characters that Atsuko Tanaka has loved, and the voice actress that Atsuko Tanaka is.
