As the title suggests I would greatly appreciate any VMD tips etc (for the HD ps3 version in case that makes any difference). Thank you in advance to those, if any, that give advice

^ Pretty much, also what can help is if you can't use triangle (for Devil arm) and Square (for Summoned Swords) at the same time efficiently (I can't lol), then you can try do what I did which is change Summoned swords to one of the bumpers/triggers, it helps alot for using them and Devil Arms simultaneously. With Vergil, Devil Arms and Summoned Swords can be used at the same time, which allows him to steamroll through most of the game. As long as you have the swords at max level, you shouldn't have much trouble alternating between pressing triangle (Devil Arm) and square (Summoned Swords) while in combat.
During my playthroughs of VMD, I mainly used Beowulf for its high damage output. Yamato is good for Judgement Cut, the Beowulf boss, and some large crowds. Force Edge was mostly a backup weapon.
No problem. Thanks a lot for all the help, I'll hopefully be able to power through a few missions now! The links are very helpful MKH Spartan, I am very much in your debt!
