Actually Vergil's Downfall is not a prequel; it takes place just after the events of DmC. That's all I'm sayin' about that.

Will it was pretty much heavily assumed that this would be a sequel upon its reveal.

With it being his "downfall" and him looking and acting more "dark" in the trailers.

Most people came to the conclusion that it takes place after is inevitable battle with Dante.

I got the DLC code with my preorder and no date was given. Funny though, I got 2 weapon skins and the vergil code.
