That's a terrible analogy. A serial murderer's baby is still human so human ethics and law apply to it.

A demons baby is a horrific hellspawn. It has no feelings, no emotions, and wants to kill Dante under Lilith's orders.

If Vergil didn't shoot Lilith his plan to take over the world would have never succeeded, because Mundus' spawn would've fought with Vergil anyway.
so what sparda was also demon didnt stop him from having two kids

Don't mess with a Mage, bitch.
So, we're just going to ignore the fact that the baby tried to kill Dante, was sentient enough to want to kill him, and had enough power to be one of the hardest bosses in the game?

Is that what we're doing?

vergils father is a demon so not all demons are bad
sparda in this universe didn't betray demons by going rambo on them, he actually helped mundus rise to power, and probably helped Mundus eradicate all of the nephilim, Mundus only considered him falling in love with an angel a betrayal

lilith was ordering him , its just a baby after all
lilith let it do what it wants and only told it to suck her back in or hit back when it was being defeated, otherwise it was attacking through it own free will, when it was growling at dante and trying to get out of her belly that was all it, it even can control malice which shows its a threat, its a demon dude, it wasn't going to grow up and suddenly turn into nero or become a new character it was basically a NT interpretation of the antichrist

good luck shooting that BOSS FIGHT to death, but of course its suddenly a defenseless child right and definitely was not as tall as a small building with the power to send energy waves and lilith would've named him nero in the secret ending to the game -_-

Think of it this way if he DOESNT get killed hes just going to come back. Anyone who has seen the end of the vergils downfall dlc knows why as well. The dudes going overboard and is completely lost in his own mind. So not killing him is going to leave it to where hes just going to do it all over again.

Even if they weren't demons, having Lilith and Mundus as parents... yeah, I would have shot the fetus out of the womb too.
