So as you guys know the Vergil DLC has been announced (side note FAPFAPFAPFAP) so I'd like to have a little discussion about it. Where do you think it takes place in the story? What will his DT be? More or less fun to play as him than Dante? Only Yamato as a weapon or more? Discuss!
 
I hope to see vergil with at least a couple other weapons. It would really add to his gameplay, which looks extremely fast and awesome! He has alot of his returning moves which is great, and he even has the doppleganger style, which is even better! I'm really excited to see his lost chapter. :)
 
He's definitely way faster than Dante. I love that NT/Capcom decided to divide their powers and it suits them! It makes them unique. Though, this kinda spoils what you have to look out for when you fight him. Not a really bad thing, just spoiler.
 
I think he will have a few new toys! Ice guantlets maybe? I'm just so excited although there is no UK pre-order thing for this DLC which annoys me slightly!! >:( But I LOVE the look of this Vergil story!! I think he'll have a DT like old DMCs but perhaps it'll be more skeletal? Not sure but I am too excited to think straight!!!!!
 
Yeah, Vergil's going to be a serious pain-in-the-ass to fight if he can do all that. But note that he's a direct contrast to Dante's rough, angry fighting style. It's elegant and awesome and I WANT TO PLAY AS HIM RIGHT NOW.

Exactly. It doesn't come out day one and you get it free if you preorder it, which I think is hilarious. Because it rewards those who have stuck with this game and are actually interested in it, because all we have to do to get the DLC free is pre-order it. Not very hard. Lol

When it didn't. Special Edition cost 40 bucks, and was announced less than six months after DMC3 was released.

I know! So the special edition was only $10 cheaper than the original and it came out not very long after DMC3's original release, AND you only got to play as Vergil through Dante's missions. But now Vergil gets his very own story missions that expand upon the universe, he has a completely new fighting style including doppleganger style AND it's free if you pre-order the game. Yet they complain.

Foolishness fanboys........foolishness.
 
Finally mine waiting for confirmation that Vergil is playable finally are true. I always believed that this happens so Im happy that I can pay for game and DLC as It will be in this form XD
