Vergil - Albert Wesker

Azurel, this is madness! You'd risk the future of this forum for a girl???

Nah. Just the future of this thread. I never liked even comparing the original Vergil to Wesker, despite their similarities. Besides, Vergil is more like Sesshoromou or Sephiroth. Wesker is... Wesker. To call him one-dimensional would actually be an improvement. :/

And Izaya is a troll without a cause. Dante is just trying to get by until he has no choice but to fight.

Alright, but they are aware of you now Azurel, so stay low.

mods don't know I exist, so I'll remain hidden until we're ready to strike.

In DMC3 Virgil did impale Dante in their 1st fight twice.I think their relationship will be more like how it was in DMC3, they'll be on opposing sides Dante kill demons and such while Virgil will to whatever it takes to get what he wants

I've been calling Virgil Wesker since they his reveal lol his teleporting just made him even more Wesker like.
Yeah, but in DMC3 Vergil knew very well of Dante's limits. He knew a stab through the chest wouldn't do anything to Dante... He fought Dante just enough to put him down for a few moments. Their conflict wasn't personal, Vergil wanted power... Dante didn't approve, but neither of them felt like the other had betrayed one another. It also seemed like they both enjoyed fighting each other. Before Vergil jumped off the cliff, Dante clued in and seemed to think "Ah hell, I don't want you to take our fathers power... but I can't stand here and loose you", while Vergil seemed to think "I care for you Dante, but I won't stay in the human world to fight you any longer. You've won, and you've made that clear. Our rivalry is feudal, and I will take my leave". With DMC3 there's a lot of assumptions, but this is what added to the story while playing it. Nothing about their actions contradicted this.

In DmC, Dante completely hesitated to pull the sword out. Based on the ending, there won't be any "Haha, back again for another party?... I'm so gunna stop you bro!"... I'm thinking it'll be more around the lines of "I guess this is it, Vergil. It's a pity it has to end this way". Both brothers seemed deeply hurt by their conflict. It seems unlikely that they will have any pleasure in seeing each other.
I'm not sure if you watched the ending or not, but when you do feel free to point out anything that may contradict this.

It depends on what happens next(if there is a next DmC) like something even stronger than Mundus might have been chilling in limbo. They could be forced to work together to kill it and remember the good old times or somethin. Virgil still has time to rethink things and realize he could've did things differently.

Thinking that New Vergil's VA could ever compare to the cheese-ridden badass silliness of D.C. Douglas is the kind of fallacy that causes continents to shatter.
