Vergil a playable Costume/Character in DMC4?

I would really like to play as Vergil in dmc4 but i know if we do, it will only be like dmc3(no real story line just playing dante's levels) any way if they do let us play as vergil do you think they will give him a new outfit or just give him the same outfit from dmc3 and do you think he will have new moves seeing as they may not give him force edge and Beowulf weapons...and how about the Devil trigger...i think Nelo Angelo is vergils Full power Dt that was awakened by mundus...anyway your thought on this topic?

I also like to add if you think they will give him new battle phrases since Nero has most of his old ones from dmc3(scum,blast,Begone...ect) your thoughts?

I think that they could give him a new outfit, or at LEAST a few changes. I mean if it was a complete port, well how weird that look if they got lazy and put in a ps2 graphics looking dude inside a next gen game? haha Personally Idc too much about the battle phrases considering i love the ones he has now. But new ones wouldn't e sucha bad idea.
as for devil triggers idk. I mean nero so far doesn't have any. =/

I seen some artwork of Dmc4 Vergil Costumes ill try to post them when i find them again...but yeah i really hope he gets a new costume and new moves and i think they may give him a differnt hair style(from looking at some of his dmc4 artwork)which they prolly cancled but anyway i hope i see him in the game

As you can play as Dante and Nero already I would be surprised if Vergil is playable. I hope he is and they do a better job then they did in DMC3: SE. They should have added more cut scenes for him in that game and made it so you could get more weapons for him.

That is if he's even in the game at all. Where did you see this new costume??? It might have just been his HD picture.

But if he is in the game and playable, I think they may give him a storyline. And I think it is safe to say that they will DEFINATELY get a new costume. They would never let another character have the same costume in a different game.

Besides fighting games, when have you seen people with the same outfit they had in the last game? See, ^^ so don't worry.

Anyway as many people said, if Vergil becomes playable he would most certainly be about the way he was in DMC3:SE if not worse, since as Dalkin said I don't think that Capcom would go so far as to have 3 playable characters in the game. And if he was playable in different ways than just a costume, he would play a great deal to the storyline and thus we would have seen information about him until now.
So if he's available as a costume or with the DMC3:SE moves I won't be as pleased.

well they already stated that dmc characters will be returning. So im pretty sure they're gonna be playable. I mean it'd be pointless if they aren't right?:lol:

Not necessarily. Lady played a big role in DMC3 but she was not playable. But at the same time she wasn't pointless.
