It is possibly because it's a low budget game.

Supposedly, one of the companies that is rumoured to be reviving Silent Hill, is doing an unspecified remake of something. Now, as much as I miss the series, I would rather have an original game rather than getting yet another reimagined experience.

Remakes do little for me. They normally end up changing so much, to where it's arguably not very faithful.

I cannot find the video I wanted to show. They may have made it private. But it's Blueprint Gaming.

Blueprint Gaming does casino/slots games and low-budget affairs. You were thinking of Bluepoint Gaming that did Shadow of the Colossus and Demon Souls remakes, with possibly a Metal Gear Solid on the way.

Silent Hill gets remake rumors every other month. I wouldn't trust it even if a trailer came out, and then it'd take having the actual game in hand. And playing it. And completing it.

I'm a big fan of old-school horror, but I even I flinch at the idea of going back to fixed camera positions.

That said, I might still get it as it's considerably cheaper than most other Switch games even at day one.

Oh, right. I see where I made a mistake. LOL.

We will know soon enough if Konami really is reviving Silent Hill. I'm absolutely choking ("keen") to get a new entry. But I don't care about remakes. If they cannot come up with anything new and just think it's acceptable to rehash everything for nostalgic fans, the franchise wouldn't really be coming back in the right way then. However, using the original's familiarity would just be a way of them playing it safe.

E3 is 15-17 June. If anything is going to be revealed, it should be around then...
