Well I made a new video regarding my thoughts on this whole ordeal with skeptics, supporters and us being a divided fan base. This is pretty much a continuation of my "A Message to Tameem Antoniades" video so if you've seen it, please feel free to watch this one as well. Support would be much appreciated. I hope this video has better reception than my last one (Held 24 likes, 149 dislikes LOL). Enjoy.

The sound is a little screwy. It evens out every once in a while, but it still makes it hard to understand what you're saying.

Hm, not sure if there's anything I can do about the audio. I don't think a re-upload would really make a difference, but as long as people can hear what I'm saying then I guess it's all good.

Trust me dude, I had hair just like yours. Black, long, and like Dante's. Tried bleaching, it's incredibly tough to get black hair to white. Wigs are easier anyway since you can take them off, unlike real hair, you'll have to stick with it wherever you go. And to think I was actually willing to go through with that lol...

I'm wondering if it's a problem with either your mic, or whatever was used to make the video. Maybe you should do a test recording and listen to it to make sure. If it's just fine, I really have no idea what it could be. And it's confusing since your other video was just fine. It would be a good thing to check out before making any other recordings.

I think I'm going to have to re-upload then because the audio seems to be just fine outside of YouTube.

EDIT: Obviously I can't change the fact that we remain a divided fan base. Which is very sad...I think I should stop wasting my time doing these videos, because in the end, its not like people will see eye to eye anymore. I wish the fighting would stop. We used to be one fan base...Now we're split. I removed the video and if a mod could take down this thread, it would be nice. Sorry for any inconvenience guys. Wasn't my intention.

Chibi, don't worry about it. Keep in mind that the people who support the series in its entirety, both DMC and DmC, aren't the ones that "split the fanbase," it was the die hard DMC fans that don't want to just accept what DmC is doing. They don't want to accept that DmC is different, and when looking for things that are the same as the classics, they disregard the similarities in favor of ones that are different, and slam those elements for not being in line with the classics.

You've made a noble effort, and you should be proud that you even cared enough to try. It's great when everyone can get along, but the world is just full of cynical dickbags who would rather focus on negativity than anything else, and just refuse to shut their cockholsters and let things be as they are.

It's their fault the fanbase split, because they can't grow up.

And yeah sure, whoever wants to have a go at me for saying that is more than welcome, but you have to admit it's incredibly childish that the people who care so adamantly about not liking DmC are the ones who can't accept what's happening, how it's supposed to be different from the classics, and continue to anger themselves over contrived bullshit that isn't true. And of course, wasting their time consistently talking about something they hate, and literally has no impact on their life whatsoever.

*ahem* Anyway, Chibi, don't fret. It's not really about whether you succeed or fail, it's the matter that you actually cared enough to try.

Like I said before, it just reminds me of the community separation from Super Smash Brothers Brawl and Super Smash Brothers Melee. However the SSBB/SSBM community is A LOT more mature than the DmC community. And it's just sad either way.

And it's not like some people want to hate the game either. There are people who are giving the game a chance and it's just not meeting their expectations. But the ones who are are openly "I'm hating this game because it's not the same thing." are kinda stupid. (I wasn't too pleased about Dante being different myself but I'm past that now).

Regardless, people are going to hate change. No matter what you say to them.

idk, I still think the Sonic fanbase tops everything else. DMC fanbase can be tiresome but Sonic fanboys/fangirls can become extremely weird.

I used to draw and put up a lot of artwork on dA, maybe a poem once or twice, but never anything of substantial value - that stuff got published, or is still getting worked on for the next book. I haven't really done much on my dA account in a while either. A lot of the artwork is sorta old now >.<
 
I think all of us hated the new Dante when we first saw him putting out a cigarette on a demons face. But then, the more open-minded and mature people in the DMC fanbase decided to give the game a chance, and did some growing up, and realised that he's pretty cool.

**** what anyone else thinks. Who cares if someone asshole on the internet thinks DmC sucks. He's probably some basement dwelling kissless virgin anyway.
 
I liked the 2010 Dante, and was perfectly fine with him putting a cigarette out on a demon's face :p
